Omar’s is BACK! We’re so happy that we went again after hearing of some up and down times during previous changes in ownership.

Jennifer (Jenn) was just the best and it was like going home - garlic mashed potatoes were perfection, the burger and fries were so perfectly done (with just a hint of fresh garlic with the salt), and the Coupe Denmark was the perfect way to end the meal. I’m so happy for them. It’s such an Ashland staple and the food really was top notch.

Made the mistake of sitting outside. Slow service and the waiter didn’t write anything down and got the order wrong. Not a repeat place.

Got here (first timers) at 4:30 pm, ahead of the Raiders vs Warriors game and took advantage of happy hour. Got invited to sit at a table even though only the bar was open. Ordered up off the specials menu— the calamari, some chowder and a set of pork bbq sliders, complimented by an Arnold Palmer for the driver and a couple of John Dalys (add vodka). Finished off with one-each of the desserts—blueberry cobbler, a crème brûlée and an ice cream sundae. Completely not sorry. Everything was truly amazing, made fresh in-house (except the ice cream). Freshly breaded seafood, freshly fired sugar cap on the crème brûlée. Just amazing. If the volleyball didn’t bring me the Ashland, Omar’s would!! We’ll certainly be back!

Omar’s in Ashland is pure gold. Sat at the bar with a bartender who was warm, funny, and poured a martini that was absolute perfection — kept the whole bar buzzing while still making me feel like a VIP.

Bomb!! The onion rings were golden, crispy nuggets of joy — smothered in ranch, beer-battered to perfection, the kind of flavor you only get from years of practice. Big, bold, and downright unforgettable. I’d drive up from San Francisco just for another basket.

Omar’s is going down hill fast, smaller portions of food drinks were weak but very expensive for the small amount you get all ice 16 bucks per Margarita that’s not right Jenn the bartender server was Great and that was the only good part of a disappointing meal we are from out of town but been eating there for over 30 years it’s just sad

Service was excellent from start to finish! The food was fabulous as well, I had a perfectly cooked prime rib, and hubby had the oysters.

Very overpriced for what you get. Chicken Alfredo was bland, soggy, and definitely not worth $26. If this was a diner with diner prices it’d be ok. Just not worth it when there’s such a creative and varied food scene in Ashland.
Server was gracious and refunded my order since I didn’t want to eat it, so I really appreciate that service.
