We have been to this theater several times and each time we have been fooled into getting food and drinks off the menu. My 3 stars is strictly for the horrible food and drinks. We just watched Disaster and we thought that the charcuterie was theme based. It was the grossest thing we have ever tried. We took a bite of each thing and had to have them remove it from the table. It was my first time to this theater and at first glance the chains across the entrance on the downhill side and the “box office closed” sign kept me wandering around for a bit. Finally I tried the door on the Hargadine side and viola! Maybe a sign saying “entrance” or “welcome” posted would be helpful. The venue and performance was outstanding. The salad was decent, but the $12.00 key lime pie was pretty gross, melted into a puddle on the plate with dirty fingerprints...
Went to see Waitress last week. This our 2nd time doing the Cabarate Theatre. The 1st time we did the dinner and it was very good. This time we did the dinner again. I had the Special 'Red Snapper' It was ok, but the accompanying Pasta and Vegetables were horrible. My husband had the meat pie. He left most of it. Dessert wasn't bad but not what it should have been.
