Our pasta was fantastic and the service was what service should be. We loved every minute of our dining experience.
Outstanding food and service. Carpaccio was the best I've had outside of Italy. All of our pastas were beautifully simple and outstanding.
Wonderful experience. Lovely setting. Knowledgeable waiter. Food was excellent. Shared a salad and each had a pasta, both excellent with homemade pasta. Focaccia so-so. Nice wine list at reasonable prices. Nicest place we ate in Ashland
First time here for date night with wife. Had reservations & greeting was rather blunt & was sat at a small table. Service was very good & food was good. It would have been better to have been offered a table outside or anywhere other than where we were. Overheard other customers being seated with a much better welcome than we received. Guess u have to be a regular. All else was good. Did it Wow me? No. Hoping it would. May give it another try.
We found this place unexpectedly and we're quite pleased. We were traveling with our dog and they have a patio on the second floor to accommodate, which made it perfect. We have some delicious clams as an appetizer, two pasta dishes, couple of drinks in a bottle of wine. It was a beautiful evening. Service was great. Food was delicious. Thanks for a great night in Ashland
We had a few dinners out while seeing OSF over three days. The service, food and efficiency here was all at the top of the list. The Gnocchi my wife had was melt in your mouth and the sauce was delicious. I had the duck ragu tagliatelle special that was also delicious. We were not rushed rather the server was there just as we needed him each time. As a result, we were in and out in 45 minutes giving us extra time for a stroll before the performance.
This is our second time at osteria La briccola. I came back for my boyfriend's birthday. We are in love with the pesto!!! Staff are kind and attentive and knowledgeable. I'm a Therapist and appreciate finding a space where I can relax and have a wonderful calm meal. Thanks for everything.
wonderful food! Great place...it was a little slow, which we usually do not mid but we had to leave before dessert for a show
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Had the squid ink taglietelle with spicy salami and shrimp. Cooked to perfection with good amount of heat. Excellent service. Will return to try more of the menu.
Definitely make a reservation. Best Italian restaurant ive ever been to in the US. I lived In Italy for many years growing up and this place is it. Look no further for a REAL authentic taste of Italy. Extremely high quality. Satisfies my inner Italian :)

Best gnocchi ever. Beautiful texture and consistency.
I’ve traveled and have eaten at numerous places and Osteria La Briccola is absolutely one of my favorite. I haven’t tried anything on their menu I haven’t like; their service is thoughtful and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend
My father and I spent the week at the Shakespeare Festival and on our last night enjoyed the excellent dinner at Osteria Briccola! The burrata and prosciutto appetizer was wonderful and fresh and our Elk Ragu and Lasagna dishes had such great flavors! We were seated promptly at our reservation time and had a top-notch waiter (Tim)! Will definitely be back again!
We've been up to Ashland for 20 years but didn't know this existed. Absolutely fabulous! Food was fresh, seasoned perfectly and service (Thx u Tim) was very good. Will definitely be back!!
The best lasagna I’ve ever had. Absolutely on par with the best restaurants in Italy. Our server Jason was very personable and knowledgeable. Access the restaurant by the elevator in the alley and go to the second floor. Highly recommend outside seating.
