Love these guys! They are our local coffee shop, but still better than all the others in the valley, maybe because they've stayed small and focused on quality? Love the pastries and snacks too, but hurry as they go fast. And a bar with cocktails, and good covered seating. What's not to like?

Roco is a local staple of a coffee shop! The ambiance can't be beat! Located a few blocks from downtown, this is the place to avoid the tourists and be surrounded by locals enjoying coffee. There is a good amount of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. When you walk inside you instantly feel cozy. The wood beam ceilings, the softly playing music, and tucked away seats is phenomenal. It really encompasses the cozy coffee shop work aesthetic. Their drinks are some of the best in town. They always have fun seasonal drink options too which I really enjoy! The baristas are so sweet and are very chatty if you need recommendations. If you come often enough they will even remember your name and greet you as you enter! All the seats along the bench have access to an outlet and the wifi is FAST! I have taken several zoom meetings here with no issues. Roco has a mix of people working or socializing. I personally love the mixed groups but if you are looking for something more quiet- this might not be your stop. Overall, highly recommend this spot!

10/10 coffee, seating could be more comfortable though.

The people were nice but the cold brew was super weak and the food options were limited and overpriced.

I’m giving atomosphere a 2 due to the serious fly problem, setting up flytraps can fix this, it’s seriously almost a deal breaker for me, incredibly annoying.

Has the best outdoor seating of any Ashland cafe but the coffee and food are terrible. Coffee is bitter and burnt, food is greasy and non-nutritious. The new battleship-grey exterior paint job subtracts some beauty from the street as well.

It is so nice to sit outside and drink your coffee and visit with friends. What makes it extra special is the history this place holds for me. Over forty years ago this place was called Mr. Johnson's Grocery Store. My kids would walk from the house to the store for penny candies. It is so nice to see it is still there only now serving coffee. Thank you

Love this place. I worked here in high school and it became my favorite local coffee shop. The dedication to making consistent quality drinks shows. The owners love what they do and have worked hard to make it into the amazing place that it is. Highly recommended.
