Love love the food, and the folk are nice, but sometimes service is just a little slow. Don't go hoping for fast unless you're taking some of the predone curries, which are good. If you want hot food fast just make sure you're ordering for pickup in advance.

So many good things to say about this place! One of the best gems in the area for healthy food & comfortable atmosphere. As someone who works remotely, it's a great alternative to a coffeeshop too.

My only request would be to have more options for drinks! Herbal lattes or elixirs, for example (especially now Elder Apothecary is closed). The Chai there is great, and I would personally love more options too so I have more reasons to go!

Sauce has many vegan options, including desserts and soups. Everything is clearly marked on the menu. As advertised, their sauces are the show stealer. The dishes by themselves are on the expensive side. Be prepared to add $4 on top of that if you want protein/tofu. Their drinks look good but I never feel like adding to the already very high tab because the visit already feels like a splurge. For 2 of us to each get a bowl with tofu, and 1 vegan pudding to share, with tip and Ashland's food tax it's about $60. The kale chips are delicious but something changed in the prep and for a few years I have had to pick sharp, stiff stems out of my mouth. Just be careful. Agreed that service can be slow. Go only if you can embrace the slow down.

The food has gone down. We used to love it, but not tonight. Won’t go back in a long time if maybe at all. So disappointing :(

Nice Ambiance, Good food , music is too loud the lintel soup taste like its been spiked with sugar. The Food
Quality has gone Down Hill.

The smells drive you wild the second you walk in the door! And the food was phenomenal with delicious organic ingredients I felt blessed with every bite! I definitely recommend it🤠! Though I could use a bit more sauce since Sauce is the name and I’m a saucy kid😜

Don't order To Go! We ordered salads with extra dressing. Got the salads and the extra dressing but none of the dressing the salads come with! And we were charged extra for dressing! This seems to be an issue from other reviews here. The food is good but frustrating to place a order for pick up and not get what was ordered.

This is the third time I’ve tried Sauce and the third time it was awful. I went in because I needed something quick after being called into work and not having time to get dinner, I grab my food to go head to work just to get there and see they just gave me plain naan without the sauce. I called and asked about it the kid working offered to out the cost of the sauce back on my card but I’d paid with cash, so he said “sorry about that not sure what I can do”…which is weird because it zeros like there should be a protocol for what to do in these situations. I asked him if there was someone I could talk to that WOULD know what to do, he gave me the number to come woman who didn’t answer. Again, this is the THIRD time I’ve been to this restaurant in the past year and the THIRD time it was a waste of my time and money, so it feels like it’s also time to make a review about it instead of just ignore it and give the benefit of the doubt.

The best place in town to get a variety of delicious roasted vegetables with crunchy kale chips. Nice sauces but they're a bit stingy on the quantity of sauce provided, especially given that it's their namesake. With the protein add-ons, it gets very pricey. Also note that the menu pricing on their website is very out of date. It lists $14.50 for the Tuscan bowl, but I just paid $20.50.

Fantastic food with great vegetarian and vegan dishes, with gluten free and vegan deserts. There is a little bit of a wait, but the food is worth it.

Terrible service. Placed a takeout order just to wait for 30 minutes and have them tell us they lost our order. Told us to wait another 30 minutes. We find out they never made our order and now the kitchen is closed. Wait another 30 minutes to throw some scrapes together. Didn’t offer any complementary food or price reduction. Please be cautious going here.

Refused to give a refund when the main entrees were missing from our to-go order. EDIT: wish I could give a new 1-star every time this place falls on its face. This time I took home an $18 quart of soup (no longer even in glass!) to my sick partner and it was saltier than sea water. And when I’ve dined in they consistently have the worst service in Ashland.

The vegan options were delicious and healthy. Delivered to our hotel. We had the lentil dal and two different bowls that were both great and I really loved the sautéed kale!
