As someone coming from big cities with lots of Indian food, I had lower expectations coming into Taj's. I was blown away. Genuinely delicious and I ate every bite. They have a huge patio for outdoor dining and were so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Incredible food and very friendly service! We especially loved the Pakora, and the Garlic Naan was just perfection. What a great gem of Ashland!

I used to be able to order food on Door Dash and Caviar from this restaurant almost everyday. Now it shows far and am unable to order. The food is exceptionally good, tasty and healthy. The chicken biriyani and goat curry is to die for. Must try! I hope they can expand their delivery to Jacksonville like they used to. Thank you!

The food was just very very bad. Didn’t like the saag chicken I had ordered, whole experience left a bad taste and I won’t be visiting again

The food was exceptional, so was the service. We enjoyed everything especially the garlic naan.

We loved the food here! Came back the next night and it was still great. Just a few blocks from theaters, an easy walk.

Large entree portions, too.

My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch here. We visit Ashland a couple of times a year, and this spot has quickly become a must-dine destination for us. The goat curry was tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit.

Anytime you need a reminder that life is worth living, order from Taj. Hands down the best food in Ashland. They truly never cease to amaze me. This time i got the Lamb Korma and good gracious it is phenomenal. not to mention the Seasoned Nan Freshly Baked i got the garlic version and that would be on my death row meal requests without a doubt. just perfection. and the portion is great! i also love the Gajar Halwa, it's perfect comfort food. if you're unsure what to order tonight, make it Taj Indian Cuisine.

Great lunch buffet. Everything tastes good, and was a great stop in Ashland as a rest day while hiking the PCT.

Unfortunately, I was really disappointed here. The good reviews made me think that this place would be good so we came for my birthday. We had paneer tikka masala and butter chicken. Both were bland, chicken had some weird bites, there wasn’t much chicken or paneer in the dishes, and the naan was overdone. The vibe was pretty weak, service was lackluster, and overall I regret us coming. I’d recommend looking harder for a different restaurant.

Outstanding Indian food! We had dinner on the patio with our dog as we were passing through Ashland on the way home to Portland. Absolutely delicious - we ordered garlic naan, Chana masala, and fish tikka. Absolutely delicious - wish this was closer to home! Must try.

Really great Indian food! I really enjoyed the goat, curry and naan plate. The service was great and they have a little selection of Indian beers, which was nice.

Creative food and drink menu that's very popular with the locals. Outstanding Indian fare, with an excellent selection of cocktails and wines.

Try the Spicy Margarita -- a favorite cocktail with an Indian flair!
