Kinda glad this place is closing tbh. The food is mid, the prices are insane for what you get ($15 for a scotch egg, youve gotta be joking), service is slow because they are and have always been chronically understaffed as they dont care to actually hire people or pay them a decent amount. I honestly feel bad for all the staff who have had to deal with that and are now losing their jobs because of the terrible management.
From what ive heard from staff and my own experiences, the owner is absolutely insufferable and 100% to blame for running the black sheep into the ground. She is constantly blaming everyone else for what is clearly her fault. She refuses to take accountability for her own failures and I hope for Ashlands sake that she never opperates another restaurant again. Ashland doesnt need restaurant owners that run businesses into the ground as badly as this one did.

As an Irish visitor I found it super offensive that you would choose sell a drink called the “Irish Car Bomb”, it beggars belief really considering you are a British Pub and the
associations with same, get with it guys!

Food was pretty good but maybe a little bit too saltyl! was here with korean exchange students and shasta college and everyone liked everything they got only saying it wouldve been better if just a bit less salty! also please upgrade your A/C because the heat was miserable inside!! your food is too hot to also have the building be hot, but if this place had A/C i think it woulrve been the best place ever because our server went above and beyond and made sure everyone got everything despite being insanely busy and I felt that was awesome !

Took my mom and eldest child to this restaurant when we were in town during the recent heat wave. We had a wonderful time. We were so impressed by the waitstaff and bartender, and appreciated how they worked as a team to make sure everyone was attended to. The place was full and it was very hot that day, but they were unruffled. The food was also excellent! My eldest enjoyed the shepherds pie, my mom enjoyed her very large salad, and I found the curry to be delicious. We will definitely be back when visiting Ashland the next time.
It was half full, we went in and got seated, then waited 30 minutes, nobody came to our table. It might have been a one-off mistake, but it was surprising.
Drag show was off the chain..can't wait for the next time.

Really neat British Pub with great food & drinks. The stairs to get there are an adventure in themselves & the decor inside is fantastic.
Vegetarian options: There's veggie options for all the faves, including cottage pie!

First time I've ever had a bartender not be able to pour a black and tan properly and still charge me 11$ for a beer.
Friendly staff, wonderful food! Has the most authentic British pub menu I've ever seen in the PNW.
