I love coming to Growler Guys, but tonight I was shocked when told to chug my beer and leave. My group of three came in at 8:10 and were told that they were closing early. We checked to see if there would be enough time for one beer. We were told, "yes, that's perfect." At 8:31 the employee on duty told everyone at Growler Guys (about 10 customers) to turn in their beer glasses. We weren't done with our beers, still having a quarter left, and had to chug and leave. Very disappointing. I have never, ever had this happen anywhere before. I don't think that this was the right way to handle this. I will think twice and then again before coming here again. Be aware that you may have to chug and go if they want to close early.

Awesome beer selection. Atmosphere was okay, was told it was a good spot for watching sports but only had 2 TV's. Had some of the most mediocre wings I've ever eaten. Air fried, so not very crispy and about half covered by sauce, and no carrots/celery or blue cheese/ranch.

I'm really feeling 3.5, but I'll be generous.They have a lot of beer to choose from. That is great. I enjoyed the beer that I ordered although I don't actually remember which one it was, but for a place like this that's not important, what's important is that they really do have a very wide selection of many different styles, including ciders. I don't think they had any "domestic" beers though if that's what you are looking for. The wings were meh. Too saucy.The pizza was actually really good. And they had no problem modifying it to our needs (taking half the stuff off only half the pizza so our daughter would eat it). Nice large space. Both indoor and outdoor. Informal. Kids welcome, but no high chairs (although they did have juice boxes for purchase, phew). They seemed a little understaffed, but maybe it was just the moment we were there, ended up affecting our delivery time less than I expected.

We were done with classes and it was time to celebrate! My friend Sarah wanted to watch the women's soccer game and GGs was playing it. The best thing, it was in walking distance of where I was staying. They have a great patio that is dog friendly! "Thank you to the people sitting next to us for letting me pet your dog! I was so dog deprived!"I ordered a delicious barbeque chicken pizza! Very good! I also had two of their ciders, POG and All the Berries...both very refreshing! The staff is really friendly! Good AC inside if that's what you need. I did watch a little inside cause the sun was making its way down and hitting the back of my head....LOL!

Food isn't great but everything else is. I love the variety of beers and they even have a few ciders. It's nice to be able to sit inside or outside, and it's a great place to meet up with friends for an after work drink.

Of all the cool places in ashland, not sure why you'd go to a franchise... (We went because a friend wanted to go. ) I don't think I'll go back. Super loud, weird glasses, most of the beers from places that have sold out....Vegetarian options: Salad. Wow.
