I had a good time! The food was good. And the service was very good. I had salmon with red potatoes and it was really good. I especially liked the Macadamia nut Cookie which had a good flavor to it. I sat alone in the back. I observed all the good company. I watched as people came in, and I watched them leave. I imagined I was one of them. It felt good.

The food isn't always cooked fully. it's either the most bland thing you have tasted or inedible because of the amount of salt. I can't believe I have to pay for this.

I enjoyed the amount of options. some food feels like it’s a little bit too salty but it seems like there’s a good mix. Their orange chicken and corndogs are fire. I don’t think the employees are bad at all. I think you just have to invite them with a good conversation. the manager running the show is honestly such a breath of fresh air and I hope he continues to work there!

Lots of pros and cons at The Hawk. Their food selection itself is good; they offer a wide variety of options during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can sometimes order a handmade omelette for breakfast, you can always order a custom sandwich, and usually, they have the grill going with some good options. The place is well put together, with enough space to accommodate all of its visitors most of the time. However, there are many students who report having gotten food poisoning here, sometimes on multiple occasions. The food isn't always prepared properly; you can usually tell when a good chef is on shift and when they're not. They also don't offer a good variety for vegetarians or vegans. They will occasionally offer special food menu items, but this is not as common as it should be because those meals almost always taste good. Also, first year students are automatically charged for meals at The Hawk, which in my opinion there should be an option to opt out of the meal plan when registering. The employees are generally helpful, and can become so focused sometimes that it seems like they don't care even though they usually do care (which, as a former restaurant worker, I completely understand). If this place would take student feedback seriously, it could become a much better place to eat. Still, for its convenience and its sometimes good meals, I give it 3/5 stars.

Student should have better ways of getting food when they have late classes or classes that go during service. This place is for the students so it should have food available all day until school is out for the day.
