We went last night and had a sashimi sampler and a few rolls. Great quality sushi! Awesome drinks too! Would order again..... to go. Unfortunately the upstairs is being used for storage so the place is operating at half capacity. We felt incredibly cramped because the tables in the remaining eating space are so close togther.

I hear the sushi is great, however... I haven't been able to get past the Katsu Curry! Only place probably within 300 miles of the Rogue Valley to get authentic Japanese Curry! You can actually taste the butter from the roux they make to tighten it up! Comparable to Coco Curry in Japan!

Food is so so. The noodle bowls have little flavor. The seating is very shabby, with some be torn. Many of the seats are near the door and you freeze every time the door opens. The sushi is very good.

I felt disappointed on my last visit. The miso ramen I ordered came with two tiny slices of chasiu and little other ingredients. The noodles were also not completely cooked. So different from the first time I came! The fried oysters were good, so my visit was not a complete disappointment. Likely, I will not return.
We went all out on dinner, ordered Japanese wagyu steak, it was so delicious and so beautiful ?. The staff is so amazing. We had such a great time with everyone.

Got here on a packed new year's eve for dinner and I was plenty satisfied with the experience. The staff was very knowledgeable about all the menu items and arranged a spicy vegetarian noodles dish for me even though the menu option originally had seafood. The service was slow because of the crowds, which was understandable.

Was in beautiful Ashland for a few days. While trying to figure out dinner, I stumbled upon Umami and I HIGHLY recommend it. I had the curry with Katsu! It was delicious!!!
