This place is one of my very finds in Ashland. Everything is fresh, delicious, and wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner (I think he’s the owner?) has the best old timey mustache 😁. I’m looking forward to going back this summer.
First-time visitors dropped by on a rainy weekend morning. Stayed to enjoy the coffee & food, watching a steady flow of visitors cruise through the doors. Even met the owner, who was welcoming and took the time to recommend their customer favorite menu items (thank you!).
Service: Top notch! Friendly and with a genuine smile. Staff engaged with customers and greeted others by name (clearly frequent customers!).
Food: Spouse tried the brazilian nut waffle with coconut cream (so good!) & I went for the zucchini and pepper quiche, which had just come out of the oven (light crust with airy eggs and savory flavors).
I'm a home cook & baker - everything tried today was delicious. We will definitely return to try more of what they had to offer. They're centrally located in town and a definite stop for any visitor.

I don’t want to leave a bad review because they seem like great people. But unfortunately we can’t eat here and are a family of a true celiac and gluten intolerant people. They use oat flour in all their sweet baked goods 😞 which is a no go for a lot of celiacs and intolerants, We just can’t tolerate oats even if they are gf. We are bummed we can’t eat here because we are locals.
Dietary restrictions: They use oats in their gf flour for baked goods. 😞
Celiac paradise! It was so nice to be able to order anything off the menu because it was all gluten-free! I had a grilled ham and cheese with avacado and a peach tart. The kids had a muffin and were surprised it was gluten-free. The asked me if I checked because it was that good. The bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly.

My GF is celiac, so we picked Vida because it's 100% gluten -free. It was also extremely tasty. Strongly recommend the rotating quiches: we only were able to taste 4 of them but they were uniformly excellent.
Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Place was funky chic, and clean. Outdoor seating was nice, too.

Delicious gluten free bakery! We went for lunch and had the egg salad sandwich, açaí bowls, and chickpea cakes - all super tasty. For dessert we had the mocha dulce cupcake (I think that’s what it was called) and it was swoon-worthy. The peanut candy was also a treat. We ate outside under the umbrellas so my pup could join us. Can’t wait to try the breakfast menu and other lunch options.
Update: on my second trip to Ashland this year, I had the quiche on my first day in town and came back for it the next three days in a row. It’s without a doubt the best quiche I’ve had - delicious, creamy, and even the crust is a huge yum. Flavors vary each day, with one vegetarian and one meat.

VIDA is just so damn good. We got a myriad of deserts for our wedding day and holy moly they did not disappoint. The bundt cakes were to die for, and my personal favorite had to be the pear almond tart. I frequent VIDA whenever I'm visiting Ashland - this will forever be a staple on my Southern Oregon trips! Aside from the deserts, if there ever comes a day where VIDA is no longer, I will mourn the loss of the gluten-free seed bread with great sadness. It's the best gluten free loaf I've ever had.
