It took 30 minutes for empanadas and an order of nachos. Only 2 customers in front of me. Got my order wrong, and let the nachos sit and get soggy. Prices are not well written (masking tape with sharpie) and many items had no price at all. There are many better food trucks in Astoria than this.

What an awesome surprise! We ordered the carne asada nachos, menudo, and I had to try the Al pastor and birria as well. The menudo is on point. The tacos were on homemade tortillas. The Al pastor was perfectly cooked and marinated. Will definitely be going back next time we’re in Astoria to try more of the menu.

All of the food is absolutely awesome. The lengua said it all: this is absolutely the real deal spot. El Pastore was awesome. Flautas were perfectly crispy. The guacamole was maybe made like 10 minutes ahead of time. And the guy that was in there on a Saturday night was hustling. Truly awesome.

Call ahead if you are impatient or have a short lunch, they hand make EVERYTHING but their chips, so perfection takes time! Well worth the wait!!! If you haven't eaten here and you are visiting or live here you need to try this gem out! I ate here for the second time and I was told I need to try Alma’s tamales and man they weren't joking! She offers a red sauce pork tamale, and green sauce chicken tamale, both were good but the green one, its hard to find the words to describe. Let me make an attempt. These green sauce chicken tamales were uhhhhmazing. They were saucy. They were exquisite. My tastebuds fell in love. After my meal I went back and bought 15 more tamales so I could freeze some to savor in those times of need when I need a little pick me up. She told me that she doesn't sell to many of the tamales and I told her this just wouldn’t do. I told her I was going to write a review so more people could experience the fantasticness of Alma’s tamales. I really did go and stock up on theme. Proof in the pic. This place is a treasure! I’ll tell you this now. You. Are. Welcome. :)

The taste of the food is good, but what is really incredible is the small amount of food that the tacos have, the price quality is not fair, the tacos cost 5 dollars and they come with very little meat, the same as the cakes, they are It is assumed that if you pay something expensive it is because it is or has quality but those tacos had more cilantro and onion than meat, the flavor of the meat is good but it is not the best in the city, so for price and quality I do not recommend this place , there are other cheaper places with higher quality in their service and products.
