My partner and I stopped by THREE times in our 24 hour trip to Astoria. We loved the food and drinks and the folks working are incredibly sweet and accommodating! Their vegan options are excellent on their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus :)

While in with my medical k9 on vacation, we experienced massive amounts of discrimination, turned into harassment, turned into a criminal act by the employee for kicking my service k9 after reporting her for making a discriminatory comment towards my service k9.While speaking with the owner who was in house, another customer was allowed by all staff to harass me further, and then while waiting for police to file criminal charges for the ORS 167.352 statute violation against my medical k9.Furthermore, while waiting for police still, I went in to by a water so I could take emergency seizure medication, I attempted to still tip the bartender for my glass of water, and I was met with further harassment and was told I had to get change myself, after explaining I’m disabled and asked for assistance, which is appropriate under the ADA guidelines all businesses and public access places must abide by.Lastly, a drunk customer continued to film my 3 month old daughter, my wife, and myself repeatedly, and continued interjecting herself into a situation that was supposed to be myself and management. This was all directly allowed by staff and the owner, and I had to be taken to hospital where I later suffered a medical situation and had documented seizures, that was previously explained that due to head trauma and TBI injuries, that stress from harassment would trigger a medical episode.Police reports were filed and it is being looked at by the district attorney, my lawyers have already been notified and will be pursuing legal action against this establishment for the failure to respect federal and state laws and guidelines. An ADA complaint and business complaint will be filed also to ensure this business learns to ensure disabled customers are safe in their establishment, and that discrimination and harassment will not be tolerated from any person or business in any city or state.Again the Oregon statute for this is ORS 167.352, making it a criminal act to intentionally interfere, distract, or discriminate or harm any service k9 out working in public. The Class A misdemeanor will be pursued against the employee, and every resource that holds these situations accountable will be brought against these individuals and the business that took part in this very unsatisfactory visit to their establishment today.

I've had some great breakfasts here, I've had some I'd like to forget from an "in the weeds" standpoint. But after that I heard how great dinner was so I stopped in.Grabbed a bar seat and was taken great care of by the bartender. The (Bullwhip?) cocktail was great. A nice, upscale riff on a jack and coke. The small Caesar was the perfect size and delicious with balsamic drizzle and croutons.I was split on the shrimp shu mai or the scallops and ultimately went for the scallops in bartender recommendation (though he did note both were great choices.)The dish itself would have been excellent. My bar seat neighbor actually asked what it was as it smelled so great. But, and a big but, the grits weren't fresh. They weren't creamy in any way and were simply crumbly bits. It didn't ruin the dish, as the scallops were delicious, but that aspect of the grits wasn't there. I'd call it more grit cake crumbles.Alas, it wasn't a bad experience but I do wish I would have had the shrimp shu mai made in-house. Next time!

Cool space for a coffee house and bistro! Food and portion size were amazing! Fish tacos and the curried chicken salad sandwich were both super yummy! We happened upon this place and would go back! Especially for the baked goods! Thank you! ☺️

Perfect breakfast. I stopped in for a quick coffee, but decided to stay for breakfast too; it was the right choice. Got a breakfast bowl and loved it. The decor is really cool. Service was fast and friendly. Coffee was good too. Really a wonderful find. Recommend for coffee or small breakfast.

The bartender, Bo( I think that’s his name, (has a ponytail) made sure our bacon was extra crispy on our turkey bacon and avocado sandwich. It was by far, one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. One person in our party had the Goyza s and they were perfect. I would highly recommend this place ! Get the turkey bacon avocado sandwich.AnoukPDX

This listing is unclaimed for now. I wanted you to review this coffee house because the coffee was really great here. I really love someone whose passion for coffee shows in their conversations. The barista definitely was passionate about coffee and he was giving us suggestions on the coffee notes and how to test them if we want to try something new. The service was great. Ambiance was very hippie style I would say with lot of things at inexpensive place but very interesting. All in all, do check out this place if you are around astoria and you wouldn't be disappointed at all
