Huge fan of the cozy ambience and the bartenders know their craft (David & Kyle). I tend to send people over here who are looking for a quiet date night with high quality drinks. It's a hidden gem that's for sure.

We had such a great time at Blaylock's. We arrived around 8 on a Saturday night and were the only people there after another party left, but by the time we had our first round the place was filling up. The atmosphere is cozy, cool, and totally unexpected based on the building's exterior. The service was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic - the Bourbon Bramble and the seasonal Spice Trader were definitely standouts! We capped the night with a slice of the delicious olive oil cake. We'd definitely come back next time we're in town!

Small, intimate, and cozy! The selection of whiskey was impressive, the server was exceptional (even in training), and the environment warm.

Really tasty but expensive cocktails. The food that we have tried has been good but not at the level of the drinks. The service can be slow. The atmosphere is nice but can be loud.

Excellent cocktails. The whiskey sour and old fashions were exceptional. The best I’ve had in Astoria. Excellent service. Kind, caring and professional.

I purchased a gifted card online for a friends birthday. No confirmation no gifted sent. They debited bank account but no gift card was sent. Tried to contact establishment for the last 4 days. Mail box full and can’t leave a message. Sent email 3 days ago, no response. Bad business..

Blaylock's was one of the highlights of our stay in Astoria. It was phenomenal. The wide assortment of cocktails was incredible - was hard to make a decision given how many excellent choices were available.

Our servers, Kyle and Corey, were experts on the spirits at Blaylock's and provided exceptional guidance for us during our visit. In fact, I told Corey my preferences in a cocktail and asked him to surprise me. He came back with one of the best drinks I've ever had.

Highly recommend Blaylock's. You won't be disappointed.

Decided to check out Blaylock's on our last trip to the coast, and was most impressed to find a whisky bar of this caliber in Astoria. While the bottle inventory may not be as large, the overall selection and service is as good or better than any of the whisky bars in PDX, and a lot less pretentious. Our bartender mixed a mean cocktail and dispensed a healthy pour. Yes, some of the prices per glass are a bit high for the rarer whisky's, but many of these bottles are nearly impossible to find at your local OLCC store. Can't comment on the food since we didn't order any, but will on our next visit; definitely adding Blaylock's to our 'must come back' list.

If you are in Astoria and love good cocktails or rare alcohol, then this is a can't miss stop. The staff is amazingly well-informed about their menu and quite talented at making the various featured drinks. The interior is dark academia meets liquor cabinet of curiosities, with plenty of things to examine and spark conversations. While the seating may be limited, it makes for an intimate experience. Parking is on the street and free, and usually easy to find.
