Huge fan of the cozy ambience and the bartenders know their craft (David & Kyle). I tend to send people over here who are looking for a quiet date night with high quality drinks. It's a hidden gem that's for sure.
We had such a great time at Blaylock's. We arrived around 8 on a Saturday night and were the only people there after another party left, but by the time we had our first round the place was filling up. The atmosphere is cozy, cool, and totally unexpected based on the building's exterior. Blaylock's was one of the highlights of our stay in Astoria. It was phenomenal. The wide assortment of cocktails was incredible - was hard to make a decision given how many excellent choices were available.
