My companion said the croissant was hands down the best croissant they have ever had. I thought the pain au chocolate was delicious, too. Good coffee, pleasant atmosphere.
They do sell out of vegan pastries, so get there early! Got there a half hour after they opened on a Sunday and they sold out of savory croissants as we were waiting in line đ

Iâve come a few times in the past several months and the hot foods have not been as flavorful or hearty as they once were. The tempeh Rueben made vegan is smaller now, and not as flavorful. If you order half a sandwich youâll be disappointed because the full sandwich isnât that big to begin with, it used to be much larger and more flavorful. I would say the same about the sweet potato pesto burrito, could hardly tell there was pesto and it needed a lot of salt and salsa, also wished for hot sauce. Itâs just missing other flavors, itâs pretty boring. I hope that they revisit these menu items and try to make them what they used to be or offer something new and interesting to the vegans. Love the baked goods tho and hope to see more vegan croissants, selection has been more limited for the vegans lately.

We stopped by here twice. The first time ended up just for a latte. My wife had been thinking of getting food, but we were informed they were putting together a large order and options were limited. The next day, we stopped in for brunch and ⌠no bagels (still morning). I got sides of potatoes and tempeh sausage. Couldâve gotten the hash bowl that my wife got (and liked). Also had another latte, which was as good as yesterdayâs. Service was stellar all around.

I believe the mood of the staff says a lot about a business. Everyone here seemed to be looking out for each other when I visited, even though it was super busy (with a line down the street!
The staff were so kind and there were plenty of vegan options to choose from, both sweet and savoury. Donât miss it!

Loved the food, the service, the baked goods - delicious. Itâs small so sometimes a table might be a wait but with it. I loved my vegan options and the rest of the family got their more traditional fare.

Been coming to this bakery for years every time we are in Astoria. Lots of clearly marked vegan baked goods and sandwiches. The tempeh Reuben and TLT are delish!!

This is why I donât tip until after service. Waiting close to a hour for warmed pizza slice to go. Standing directly in line of sight of lady who rung me up. Thank God I didnât tip for poor service. Itâs rude for service. Ignored. Iâm sure itâs a great place but I wonât be back. Zero stars for rude front counter staff. Unfriendly. Youâll lose your appetite before you even get a chance at their food.

Hey, really fun and inviting place to have a latte and a pastry, both of which were excellent. And the fellow that serve me couldnât have been nicer or happier. Felt like Home and family. Highly recommend!

I would really love to say this place was great because I love coops and places that prioritize workers over customers. However, charging $10.50 for half a cup each of unseasoned brown rice and black beans and then an additional $1 for a teaspoon of cheese and $3 for maybe a quarter of an avocado is a bit much. The biscuits and gravy were also pretty flavorless. Also charging for a 16oz latte and serving an 8oz⌠Iâll come back to try the baked goods some time but probably wonât try any of the other food again.

Very cool spot for coffee, with a great selection of breads and bakery items that are on the healthier side! (Organic Ingredients). It was odd that they sold the NY Times paper for $8.50. But your experience will likely be very enjoyable
