This is the real deal. Uncle Oogie is a lovely Steak, potato, rutabaga combination of nummy. It's reasonably priced and fast to go. They also have a nice inside space if you want to eat there.

Owners were incredible. Very friendly, happy, and clearly love what they do. They took time to describe all the menu to me. The food was OH MY GOD incredible. The apple dessert was seriously the best apple dessert I have had in my life. I drove the left overs home to Portland and they were perfectly reheated. Dog friendly tret provided and she ate with me in their seating areaI will visit Astoria for the sole purpose of getting a pastie.

Fantastic food! They are spot on. Hot and tasty hand pies. Ungle oggie, Cornish beef (steak), potatoes and rutabaga. Drizzled the gravy over. A cordon blue, chicken, ham and gruyere cheese equally amazing.

These pasty's are amazing. I lived in England until I was 18 and the uncle oggie is wonderful My wife go the slater loved hers as well. We loved so much we ordered 4 to go so we can freeze and heat up later at home. Superb service.

While in Astoria, OR, we found an amazing food truck called,Bucket Bites! They make pasties (pass-tees) The owner, Chris is the kindest, most helpful guy ever. We tried 3 varieties Uncle Oggie, Slater and Tail Gater, Pipeiline and Stampmill Gravy and I forget the name of the other one. We were so impressed with this business! The food was excellent, comfort food that you would expect to find in old world Europe in Astoria, OR of all places. What a delightful experience. Great to meet you Chris! We are going to tell everyone about you!!!!
Not many people can make a Cornish pastie as good as they do in Cornwall but these are spot on! The pastry was exactly how it should be & even the one with a Mexican twist was delicious. I recommend trying multiple items on the menu as each are fantastic on different ways! Truly divine food! The apple pie is so good I had tears falling. The chicken was delicious, my mom and I both enjoyed. The leek and mushroom extremely good. My partner and my mothers partner had meat options and ate them fast as ever. The woman who bakes is the woman you speak with and she is as kind as her food is good and let me tell you, this food is GOOD. Truly 5 stars all around. This baker is an absolute wizard in the kitchen. This is not to be missed! I bought some then had a bite and bought more lol.Vegetarian options: Leek option was scrumptious!!
