We wish we’d stopped in here sooner. Not the typical menu, lots of interesting options. Best fish and chips and chowder in the area. The industrial vibe is strong and enjoyable.

Get the fish-wich. I felt an almost childlike nostalgia for the best fish sandwich I had up to this point - knowing this was better. Simple and just right.
Unfortunately (post Astoria 10k) they were way behind. So tables became very competitive. They need shades for that blazing sun. And honestly- the chowder was ho-hum. But…that fish-wich….

I wanted to like this place. We ordered a shrimp salad. What we got for shrimp was unrecognizable and smell rotten.

I hadn't stopped in Astoria for awhile, but how great that Buoy is still thriving and producing not only amazing beers, but some of the tastiest eats in town. I had their IPA and a small Caeser with bowl of chowder and attentive service. I'll be back!
