There were flies in the store. Dirty seats. Employees need more training in making food. My burger was 30% sauce. My bacon looked raw.

I often run through the drive through here on my way out of town, because they have diet dr pepper, and the employees are always friendly and efficient.

In August 2025, we visited the Burger King in Astoria, Oregon. We had been boating and fishing for much of the day, and we also needed to make some small boat repairs. We bought 2 Whopper combination meals, and this food satisfied our large appetites. The Whoppers tasted great, and they added extra tomatoes per our request. Thank you, Burger King, for helping us have an enjoyable and memorable boating and fishing trip to Astoria, Oregon.

The cashier was unfriendly and rude. I handed the guy a $20. Put my hand out to receive the change and he just dropped it on the counter and walked away saying nothing. It wasn't very busy inside, two tables of other customers, ever empty table was filthy. Got me thinking about what the kitchen looked like. 🤢

Filthy tables, cold food. Might as well be downtown Portland.

Guy who I believe was named Chris kept looking at me funny and made me feel very uncomfortable. I don’t want to go here again if the new employees hired are going to look dirty and give odd looks. Been going here for years and it’s sad that I do not feel welcomed… 😔

This is the dirtiest Burger King I have been in. Pretty sure my hands are dirtier than when I came in to wash them.
The dust and dirt in the bathroom is not just from one day especially on the handicap bars.
The sink is just amazing.
I stood in line for 5 minutes waiting for someone to make an appearance prior to deciding to go wash my hands while I wait them after my amazement at the bathroom came back to the counter and stood where they could see me for several more minutes while they were looking at something on a phone together and finally walked out.
I actually stopped in to let them know the nasty drink I got last night with my meal was not a mellow yellow and actually didn’t taste like anything I have ever drank and threw it away.
But was going to buy onion rings since I was here until I made the bathroom visit and looked closer behind the counter.
This is a tourist town and this place does not shore much for appreciation to the tourists that bring so much money here this time of year.
Can’t imagine the money this place could make if it were clean and well run.
Last night’s staff was pretty questionable and can’t comment on tonight’s since they wouldn’t make an appearance

You must try their special onion rings … that do not have any onion rings in it… just the batter rings…

The issue was that they were way under staffed. The wait was long the meals were bagged incorrectly. I think the two of them who were doing the best that they could.

No bacon that I paid extra for on the Whopper. Didn't discover it until I got home, an hour away from the restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch while visiting Astoria, and the staff were friendly and happy to take our order. The food was hot, but my husband did not like that his burger had eight slices of pickles on his burger. It felt as if his burger were thrown together. Overall, I do recommend this location for lunch.
