I’m not saying this food is changing my life, but it might be. I’ve had the pleasure of having several meals here now, and not once have I been even remotely dissatisfied. The oko spud was a combo I didn’t know I needed but now probably can’t live without. The curried egg salad sandwich was immaculate. The special cheeseburger I inhaled with the feral enthusiasm of a woodland child raised by wolves & zero table manners.

We walked by and would’ve kept walking but someone sitting at the counter said it’s a great spot so we decided to try it.
Did not disappoint! Got the pickle plate and spuds plate. Definitely not what we expected but phenomenal.

OMGGGGGGG!!!! Go for lunch immediately! The menu is donation based - with suggested donations listed - and worth double! My partner and I made it a point to go for lunch on a trip last weekend to Astoria and it was the best meal we had the whole trip!!!!!!!!! We shared the yakisoba, mushroom congee, some picked mushrooms with kimchi and a little tea. We sat at the window and talked with Chef Kenzo about food, philosophy, and living in all the places before coming home to the PNW....
