Wow! How fun that this is the oldest cannery in the West Coast and they have exceptional coffee and pastries, too.

We used to love this spot for good coffee and views so we made sure to stop on our way out of OR coast. Unfortunately we were not even greeted by an extremely rude cashier who rang up a 12 oz eggnog latte at $8. The price but mostly the attitude of the cashier made us walk away. Glancing at recent reviews lack of customer service seems to be the issue. Hope this place turns around.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coffee Girl made my mom’s 66th birthday so special! 🎉☕️ We stopped in after church for a birthday brunch, and everything was absolutely perfect! The food and drinks were excellent, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel celebrated. A huge thank-you to Hope, who helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and made sure everything came out perfectly. And an extra special shout-out to Hypatia, the sweetest supervisor ever — she asked my mom what music she wanted to hear for her birthday, turned it on, and even brought us extra chocolate for the strawberries we brought in. 🍓🍫 They made us feel so welcome and at home. My mom said it was one of her favorite birthdays ever — and I completely agree. ❤️

Serving Caffe d'arte espresso. SO good!
Unique spot at the end of a pier with fabulous views.
Some gluten free treats to eat. Flourless chocolate cake was rich and dense as it should be.

Fun place for breakfast. We had a big group but it wasn’t hard to find a spot and service was fast!

Love the quality of the chi tea and the pastries. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely slow service. Waited 40 minutes for the saddest looking bagels I’ve ever seen in my life. The dough was raw in the middle and they seemed to have had a salmon famine as there was barely any on it.

By the time the food arrived, our coffees had almost frozen. Girl shouting names couldn’t be bothered to be at work today and just whispered hoping everyone would hear their names.

The previous reviews are great, so maybe this was an off day, however after paying over 50 dollars for sub par service and even worse food, my opinion on coffee girls isn’t the best.

I met this fantastic young woman who worked as a barista; she was so kind and elegant, and reminded me of my late wife, Ellie. But I was appalled to hear she had been fired. From what the other workers had told me, she was fired for having a medical condition and having a seizure. I am utterly appalled to hear that Betsy, the owner of this so-called great coffee shop, would do that to a sick, kind lady. I have been a regular for years, and now that I know how this establishment truly runs, I will never return.

I remember this girl that was working there, very polite with great service. I came into the coffee shop yesterday and you could only imagine how shocked I was to figure out that she no longer works there. I later found out that she had gotten fired for taking to long to get a doctors note, she had a seizure and other medical problems and they had to let her go because of it. I didn’t know they discriminated against medical issues and I certainly didn’t expect this from a coffee shop I have loved for years.

It is a very nice place to visit, but I don't think it should take over thirty minutes for coffee. We got our bagel in about 15 minutes then waited for the coffees.

I am an out-of-towner who worked in Astoria for 6 months. With a lot of coffee shop options in town, COFEE GIRL was my go-to spot and is a must. Located on pier 39 with beautiful views of the water and bridge, see and hear the sea lions swimming, great inside dining, or excellent outside seating right over/on the water. Rotating monthly specialty coffee menu is a must order from and fresh pastries daily. I ordered the lox bagel, and it was superb. My favorite spot in town.

Delicious food came up before coffee. We finished our breakfast before my latte and boyfriend's drip coffee was ready..Not a good formula for a successful coffee shop.~ Not a very skilled barista in my opinion.Coffee was meh..Too bad...We came on recommendation from our local host.
