The quality of veggies at this spot was beyond anything we expected!! Ordered at our table was a Greek omelet, a veggie omelet, and the potatoes with sautéed vegetables. All the plates were amazingly delicious.

Oh. My. God. This place is good. Super quirky atmosphere which initially had me questioning what kind of food we'd be served. It was amazing. 100% exceeded any expectations I had. Our family of four (mom, dad, 17 and 11-year-old children) loved our food. I was completely enthralled watching the cook expertly prepare our meals. He was like a magician. The food is very fresh - the cook was chopping the vegetables and cracking eggs for the orders placed. This spot is teeny tiny and we almost didn't come in. We have a road trip to NorCal coming up and our 11-year-old asked if the Columbian Cafe was on the way (sadly, it's not). Our server was attentive and polite, but the real star was the cook.

Boooooo. Dirty. No restrooms. Rude people. Bums everywhere. Maybe it was a bad day. No good shops. Overcrowded. The town is falling apart.

Pretty much what others said. Bad service. Rude cook. No cellphones. I was by myself and read my book on it. They don't like kids because they are noisy. The food is not that great for the ptice.

Like an old-fashioned hole-in-the-wall diner, but with really good food.

So I know COVID has caused a slow down of many businesses, but that is no excuse for awful service. I waited 1 hour for food, which should not have taken that long. I was given no notice of how long the food would take. The waitress, only when asked, attended my table. She deliberately ignored my table in favor of the others around me. When waiting for my change, she said “I thought that was my tip.” I’m sorry, tips are for good service. It is an added on bonus. And then the fact she asked “You aren’t leaving a tip?” and then said “Don’t come back” was awful. Do not come here. It’s a waste of your money.

Was really excited about this place as it has great decor and a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately it took us over an hour and a half to get our food (there were maaaybe 3 tables in front of us) and the grub was not great. Asked the waitress what was in one of their omelettes and she said “it’s an omelet.” Asked for minimal cheese if it contained any, and lo and behold... the omelette had a cheese filling. They did cut it down, but it would have been nice to be told what was in it before I ordered! All in all it blew two hours out of our last day in Astoria. A really disappointing and frustrating experience.

We waited 2 hours for 3 omelet that could would have taken no more than 10 minutes to make which is strange giving the place was empty except for one other table. The waitress ignored our table unless we waived her down which was a task because she would hide out in the back most of the time. She only asked for my ID in my group and refused to look at anyone else's ID. I didn't order any alcohol however two girls who appeared to be very young, if they were 21 it wasn't by much, they both ordered alcohol and the waitress never asked for their ID then when they were paying she said "you guys are both over 21, right?" This table was served before our and also was attended to regularly. When we finally paid we paid cash with large bills and the waitress never returned and when we asked for our change she said " oh i assumed it was my tip" she returned it and as we were exiting she screamed "don't come back here!" As if the service wasn't enough to earn it a 1 star the bathrook had no lights and was dirty. It was clear they did not regularly clean it. Would not recommend coming here.

Awesome Latin inspired breakfast. The Chile relleno 'omelette' was outstanding- not quite an omelette or a relleno, but an excellent and delicious interpretation of the two dishes. The chorizo scramble was equally delicious. Both dishes came with rice and beans, which is way better than the classic diner style pile of potatoes. You start your breakfast with tasty bread and an assortment of jams and salsa, which were all tasty. Fresh squeezed juice is available and the grapefruit was perfect in our mimosa. Sunny sidewalk seating. Coffee was good. Attentive and friendly staff, great service. We will definitely eat there again!

I was very excited to have brunch here with my mom today after a 3hr drive, I'm so upset after 1hr and a half I didn't get to eat my eggs I order only because I was still waiting for them. Nearly after almost 2hrs waiting for my food I got very upset and decided to leave. I didn't get to taste the food but I'm leaving 1 start just because cooking eggs should not take this long especially since the place was empty!!

Stopped in for breakfast while on a fishing/camping trip to the area. Wow! The highlight of the menu is the "Chef's Mercy". Basically you pick veggie or meat and how spicy and the rest is up to the chef. It was awesome! I truly enjoyed every bite. If you want a creative breakfast with unique prep and ingredients, this is your place. The interior is very eclectic as well. Look forward to returning!
