The best prawns and halibut ever!! Coating was light and crunchy not greasy at all. French fries were fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Cole slaw was very tasting!!

Went there and had somone start masterbating while he stared at me. He definitely was special needs but nobody took me seriously. The owner was coddling the offender! Never again

Decided on cod and prawns and it was not a mistake. Batter is super tasty. The seafood chowder is super good and hearty too. Had to come from Sacramento to get some decent fish and chips, glad I dropped by!

My wife and I travel to the Oregon coast about once a year. We are always on the lookout for a new favorite restaurant to add to our growing list. This year, that find is Ship out fish and chips. We visited on a Monday, and our usual go to, the Bow picker is closed at the beginning of the week. This little gem popped up on our search list and had many good reviews. We are so glad we came here. The food is prepared and served from a semi permanent food truck, and the dining occurs in an outdoor greenhouse, type structure, with eclectic furnishings.
We had the halibut fish and chips and the special of the day, the shrimp chowder. They were both excellent. Some of the best chowder we have ever enjoyed. The halibut was perfectly cooked in a very tasty batter, was very moist and the accompanying fries and slaw were good as well.
Don’t miss this slightly out of the way dining experience - well worth the short drive from Warrenton or Astoria.

We had my wife's 50th Astoria High School Reunion luncheon here and the fresh halibut is so good and the clamp chowder is really good. I highly recommend this place to anyone who reads this, go try it !!!!!

Super cute place. I loved the beachy atmosphere in a covered outdoor restaurant.
The people were very nice.
The drinks were shockingly expensive, but the food was very reasonably priced. You get alot of delicious fish for a good deal. It's quite tasty and we plan to be back to try all the other dishes on the menu. Yum.

fish tasted super fresh and was cooked perfectly, fries were nice and crispy, generous portions, order was done pretty quick, 10/10 would recommend stopping here

Chicken was bad. Half the pieces were hollow. Fish was better than most places, and fries were good. Really good coleslaw. For 3 meals with no drinks it was over $60. Not worth it. Bathroom wasn't even in working order for our kiddos. Will not return. Way over priced for not very good food and nothing special.

A food truck with a cool indoor seating area, the fish ( halibut ) was seasoned well with a perfect beer batter and the fries were great. Definitely worth checking out and having a bite to eat.

Wendy had the 2-piece halibut fish & chips and I had the the 3-piece prawns & chips. The servings were quite generous and delicious. The setup was sort of hybrid. You order your food at what appears to be a food truck, but that is attached to a greenhouse that provides covered seating along with some outside seating. It's not hoity toity, but the food is quite good and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend it. The only catch was that it took a bit of time for them to take our order.
