Stellar staff service and ambience. The food was perfect, sold us on just the right amount of courses, paced perfectly and made to perfection.

Excellent food with solid proportions and reasonable pricing. Server, Jen, was nice and attentive. Owners were gracious and kind. I had radiatorre with braised lamb (seriously, so scrumptious), my dad had the bucatini with a healthy heap of clams and we shared a side plate of mushrooms. So grateful I finally got to try this restaurant!

Where to begin?
Bottom-line up front: This is hands down the best place to have a quiet and amazing meal.
While they don't do reservations, this is ultimately a good thing. It sometimes means you wait a little bit to get a seat, you're seldom going to be in a situation where you aren't going to get taken care of because you didn't book out days, weeks, or months in advance (not to say that having to wait that long isn't worth it, because it is). No reservations means that it's accessible to everyone--even if you happened to be passing through town and had a last minute urge for world-class food.
The staff is bar-none some of the friendliest and most accommodating people I've ever had the privilege of interacting with--even if you're a loudmouth extrovert like I am.
The food and drink is amazing. Ample portions, a wide selection, and some of the best pasta I've ever had. Don't know what you want? Chances are the staff can help you figure it out. Informative without being pretentious.
Please visit here. You won't regret it.

I’m a regular here, and every time I’m here I have one of the best meals I ever ate! Everything is made with care and tastes exceptional. I’m so pleased that even the price point has remained reasonable as they’ve gained more and more attention as one of the best places to eat in Astoria. This restaurant is the real deal—don’t expect takeout or reservations, they don’t do all that. They’d rather you sit down in their beautiful space and treat you like family. Oh, and please do yourself a favor and try the meatballs!!

I think Fedé might be the best restaurant in Oregon. The food is so delicious that it actually startles you when you taste it. I have no idea how something as simple as their fennel salad can be so delicious that it leaves you speechless, but whatever they're doing in that kitchen is, honestly, magical. I've had the pleasure of eating at Fedé twice and I can honestly say that both meals were the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. The ravioli tasted like clouds made out of cheese surrounded by pasta made out of silk. The gargantuan meatballs were savory, meaty and so tender they melted in your mouth. I could write a treatise on how marvelous the pistaciocello is, but I gotta warn you, it'll get you hammered! Everything there is The Best (insert any ingredient here)_________ .I would drive from Portland, to Astoria just to go out to dinner at Fedé. That's how good the food is. And the owners, Faith and Sean, are beautiful, hard working people fully dedicated to their craft. The service is impeccable too. Don't even bother hemming and hawing, just go.....

The pasta and bread were amazing! Ravioli and shrimp with pasta were delicious. The cucumber and eggplant appetizers were also well prepared and tasty. The restaurant is very much and demand - arrive early in the evening to get a table.

I just love this type of restaurant. Everything has that homemade, from scratch taste. The kind you dream about if you ever wished you had an Italian grandma. This place is one for the romantic and the nostalgic eater. The sablefish was divine, buttery and soft. The fresh homemade bread (free?! Does that even exist anymore?) has that dense chew that only comes from real bread made with lots of care. The meatballs, my God the meatballs, absolutely stellar and HUGE. Lastly, the lemon tart had my non-foodie and typically not talkative autistic niece raving that it was the best thing she's ever eaten. Oh and I can't forget to mention, they make their own limoncello (no one does this are u kidding me?) and it's the perfect ending to a great meal. I live in Portland and I'm depressed it's so far away, but the view of the water and boats from the window just make this place the perfect spot drive 2 hours to eat.

Food is excellent as was the service. They graciously replaced one of the main dishes when one of our party didn't care for their selection.

Fede appears on every list of best restaurants in Astoria, so I was very excited to try it out!
With that being said, the food was yummy! Tomato crostini packed flavor, the potato leek soup was nice, and the radiatori, while maybe being a little too salty, had delicious chunks of lamb. The focaccia bread was the lowest part of the meal - not as fresh as I would have hoped.
Overall, It was a nice meal that left us full and satisfied.
