A nice young couple runs it. They have a good energy and a warm welcoming vibe that most places don't have. Impressive, They make the ice cream from scratch. It's amazing quality. My expectations where met. Kinda expensive, but comparable to competitors.

Sometimes it can be hard to come by certain kinds of quality locally made foods on the coast. But this is genuine house made high quality ice cream, with a good variety of both traditional and modern flavors that frequently rotate. Plus vegan options via sorbets or soft serve!
Then there's the bonus of being able to get a basket of fries with fun dipping sauces if you're looking to turn things into a light meal/large snack.
Really a treasured local business that the city and region would be far lesser without.

Such a fun a little spot. We had french fries and home made ice cream. Oh my gosh, SO GOOD!!! The kids stuck with the classics. How boring is chocolate and vanilla at a specialty shop? But it was incredible! They don't allow samples, which is a bummer or I would have treated every flavor. (Probably why they don't offer samples!) I normally stick to things I know when I can't sample but I risked a little food adventure and tried the Astoria fog, which was Earl Gray and blackberry. So worth it! It was the most delicious random flavored ice cream I've ever had. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely go again, even without the kids.

Good quality icecream. It includes classic flavors, and also unique flavors that are changed up on each visit. As always, having it located along the Columbia River adds a lot to the location. You can even be taken there by the trolley if you are here during Spring to Fall. Tasty ice cream though, what else could you ask for?
