This is a old school americanized chinese food place. You can choose from a variety of combo plates or order your preferred entree. Prices are very reasonable. Service is always fast and friendly. The building is a bit weathered inside and out. The bar in the back always has locals in it.
Blast from the past, old-school Chinese with the kind of meals I remember as a kid. My dining partner and I enjoyed our meals at the Golden Star. The lunch specials are pretty good-sized and fairly reasonable price-wise. The Hot and Sour Soup was delicious! I ordered the Cashew Chicken which had a ton of vegetables and liberal nuts mixed throughout the dish. She ordered the Chicken and Green Beans with BBQ Pork. Both dishes were very flavorful.
