Best Coconut Korma west of the Rocky Mountains. Comfy atmosphere, friendly service.

Super kind staff, amazing food. So glad we came here. My partner really seemed to love it as well.

The staff is no where to be seen from when i walked into the awkwardly quiet restaurant. No music, no ambiance. Order was taken in an appropriate timing, but the delivery of water and the $7 LEMONADE took a long time 10 minutes for the water and 20 for the lemonade. The food was dropped off and water was topped off once, but no one checked up on me the entire time. The raita was really good, but the naan was just ok, slightly burnt, the rice was plain (first time in any indian restaurant that the rice was not seasoned) and the dish, Hyderabadi bagara baigan, was so salty that all of the spices were lost. I don't think I will be back. There is a food cart in rockaway that is 100x better, fresh, and better priced.

The best Biryani in the northwest! I live in the Seattle area and fly all over the world trying Indian food. Turns out I just needed to visit Astoria. Definitely worth a visit.
The chutney was something to be desired, but everything was delicious. I have been before and liked everything but the southern dishes. They aren't my favorite.
I had the palak paneer recently and it was my favorite thing so far. I will definitely be back. I want to try the buffet and many other items on the menu.

Every time I have gone here I have thoroughly enjoyed the food. Just be prepared during peak times for a bit of a wait or menu changes. But there is always something to find on the menu that is delicious and in my opinion is worth the wait. Staff is attentive and friendly. I love this spot.

I wanted to update my review. The first time I came here was 6 years ago and I still go here and consider Himani the best Indian cuisine I've had. You'll find everything here, plus more you may have never heard of. So many options for all diets. You'll be ruined in trying other places because you'll only want Himani :)

The food is excellent, service was also very good. Pleasantly surprised to have a nice Indian dinner in such a small picturesque town!

We had a chance to eat at Himani on our road trip. We didn’t expect much until we tasted their food. The food is very fresh and hit the palate right with all the right flavors. We live in Texas, coming this from us tells something about their food 😃

No waiting service. Salty dishes. Still charge you 18% tip with no option for No Tip. Avoid this restaurant unless you are desperate for Indian food. Should have written this review after the first visit. But it got even worse when we dined there for second time. Disgrace to all great Indian restaurants.

The paneer and dosa was so good. We also requested him to make aloo gobi without garlic and onion and it tasted good too.
