Stopped by because of their high reviews. And the reliance on Google reviews did not disappoint. Great place and fantastic beers. There is an assortment of ales, IPA, hefewiesens, etc. There are a handful of board games, a pool and football table. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Had 15 plus beers self brewed. Good diversity. Friendly brewer was serving . Didn't have any food. Not a million dollar brewery but we enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. Would go again.
Love this place. Great Beer, nice folks.
Dog-friendly, inside and out. We didn't try the food, but the house-brewed beers were really good and there was a large selection to choose from. The owner was friendly and great to talk with. Laid-back, low-key, and definitely recommended.
We were on a road trip with our newly rescued dog, Maybelline when we were lucky to find this spot. They were one of the only places that allowed dogs inside, and on a rainy day we needed that. They were short staffed, but definitely took care of us with ease. They had a fantastic beer selection of their brews, everything was great. Good panini sandwich too. We met a local, Scott, and he was so friendly and welcoming in sharing a bit more of Astoria with us. This place was great!!!!
As both a bartender and relatively picky beer enthusiast, I found Hondo’s Brew Pub when looking for a dog-friendly, indoor space to enjoy with my girlfriend. Upon entering, I even told her (also a bartender), “this will either be some of the best or worse beer we’ve ever had.” After a brief chat with RJ, the owner and phenomenal human who brews all of the exceptional beers Hondo’s has to offer, we got our drinks; the Dog Day IPA for me, and the Big Red Dog Red IPA for my girlfriend, Kayla. It should go without saying that those were two of the best beers we’ve had. The Dog Day IPA is quite similar to Barley Brown’s Pallet Jack IPA, one of my top 5 favorite beers of all time, and the IRA was equally as delicious. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. If you’re in Astoria and questioning whether you should swing by Hondo’s, I’d confidently say you absolutely should. Between the atmosphere, the owner’s amazing attitude, humility, and passion for excellence, and the location, we will absolutely be back!
It was outstanding. The lady bartender was absolutely wonderful. So friendly and kind. We have been servant times and always hope to see her friendly smile.
I just stopped for the first time . Very nice people and the home brew beer was great . Try the # 1 Pitbull love it . I will stop again soon
We split 2 flights (5 choices in each), and every single beer was excellent. They have a good variety of types, so you're sure to find something you like. The bartender was super nice. They had a nice selection of board games. Highly recommend checking it out!
Best brewery in Astoria. Excellent quality and selection. RJ takes a lot of pride in his craft.

This was one of our favorite breweries, if not the best, that we tried on our two week tour of the PNW. Excellent beer and very chill atmosphere. Our server was great and we got to meet the brewer. Both were a joy. Don't let the building fool you. This place is worth it.
