Solid spot for Chinese food in Astoria. The beef chow fun and beef chow mein were both tasty, and the staff was really nice. I appreciate that they are open late.
We didn't eat just went to play video poker it was a very relaxed environment
We had a large group. Service was great. Food was ok. Pan fried noodles were not like any I had before. Very bland and rubbery.
This is the best Chinese food in Astoria Oregon ( In our opinion). We have tried the competition The food is fresh, and very hot. Service is prompt, and friendly. To start our table had egg flower and hot and sour soup. Both were hot and good. My plate had General Tso's, fried shrimp, pork chow mein and fried rice. The fried shrimp was cooked to perfection! The General Tso's was very good as well. Fried rice was tasty. I wish the pork chow mein had a bit more flavor. My spouse had Fried shrimp, Chicken subgum, fried rice and BBQ pork. His only complaint was that the BBQ pork was bland. Servings are large and filling. The restaurant itself is a bit dated, but so are most there in Astoria. We will be back.
Remember this is one opinion on one given night. Met old friends from Astoria at this restaurant for dinner. Eggflower soup was actually hot (something that doesn't always happen at a Chinese restaurant) and the food was excellent. Nice to have egg foo young that didn't taste like a kitchen sponge with gravy. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food and there was lots of it. Thanks for making it a special night with special friends.
Loved the home made egg foo young!
Food was really just basic and the bbq pork was suupppeerrr dry and overcooked but the lo mein was pretty good
Good food and cheap prices
Despite some negative reviews I decided to give it a try, I feel that I found a great place to eat

One dinner special is enough food to feed two adults. I would just recommend freshening up the yellow sign outside. Other than that, huge portions and delicious.
