I stopped by this place because we were looking for fresh seafood since we were so close to the ocean. However, this place was more like fast seafood. It was decent enough. The restaurant was clean. The windows are nice and big so you get a nice view of the ocean. Bathrooms were clean. The host and waitress were super friendly and the knew the menu well. There was plenty of parking in the front of the restaurant, and there was zero wait time when we went. This place isn't bad. They have outdoor seating as well. I think we were all just a bit bummed because we were hopeful for fresh seafood. If you want something quick and eazy....this is your spot.

Service was very fast though we waited about 15-20 minutes to be seated. As usual the clam chowder was excellent. The Marion berry cobbler was good.

The food was to die for. We've ordered many entries, and all of them were delicious. We came to this place 25 minutes before closing, and we still got excellent service. Highly recommend.
Review for Mo’s in Astoria:
I recently dined at Mo’s in Astoria and had an overall enjoyable experience. The chowder was delicious, and the beer was served perfectly cold. The service was top-notch, with a waiter who was attentive and responsive to our needs.
However, I did encounter a small issue with the clams. While they seemed fresh, the sauce left something to be desired. I typically look forward to a rich, flavorful sauce with a hint of white wine—something that you want to soak up with bread. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this time, as the sauce felt a bit bland.
I mentioned this to the waiter, who immediately relayed my feedback to the manager. The manager handled the situation with care, removing the clams from our bill, which I appreciated. Despite this, I made sure to tip the waiter well because his service truly made a difference in the experience.
Overall, I still love Mo’s and believe this was just a one-off issue. I’m confident that the team will take my feedback seriously and maybe even improve that sauce for the next time I visit. Looking forward to returning next year when I’m in town again!
Food and service was wonderful. Salmon was cooked perfectly!

The clam chowder should be called potato soup. We could barely see or taste any clams. Luckily we did the slumgullion so we had the bay shrimp so there was some seafood in it. The view is amazing, service was good but the chowder was very disappointing.

Great place to eat. The food was really good and the view of the river is amazing. We watched some seals swimming just outside the restaurant. The service was decent but a little slow.
