Great food. Love their Pho. Sadly not that many vegetarian/pescatarian options. Most dishes are with beef, pork or chicken. There are a few options with shrimp or tofu. We'll definitely come back! Beautifully decorated restaurant and friendly staff.

You all know how rarely I go out for dinner, so my expectations are high. I had heard from several friends that Pho Mekha Astoria had great food. I felt the atmosphere was cluttered and I had to keep my coat on while dining. Service was decent, but there were only a few patrons when I was there. To start we shared shrimp spring rolls, which were very plain. I ordered the Vietnamese Turmeric Noodles hoping to warm my gut after a day spent preparing and planting at a friend farm. The noodles where not fully cooked and the broth tasted mostly of Chinese five spice. There was very little pork, two shrimp, and the chicken actually looked and tasted like sliced lunch meat. My friend did enjoy the Pho Tia Nam, but I thought the broth also tasted primarily of 5 Spice. Overall, not an experience I am likely to repeat.

Food and servers were great but our 13 year old son was traumatized by the men’s bathroom “art”. It is demonic and foul. There is no mistake that it is intentional being that the darkness you feel while observing is real. Our son pointed out how it could be very disturbing for even younger children than himself and it makes a person wonder why restaurant owners would hang pictures like this and the greater question, who makes pictures like this?? Not ok!! I consider this sort of display to be abusive and as a parent I feel obligated to question the owners and warn others!!

This is the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of Vietnam! We are visiting and only in town for the day or I would love to go back again. We had the vegetarian Bánh Tầm Thịt Nướng and the Bún Bò Huế. Both were delicious. Service and atmosphere were great too. Highly recommend!

Very yummy! I got pho and my husband got the carmelized chicken wings with some potstickers. The chicken wings were our surprising favorite, although as all the other reviews state you can’t go wrong with the pho. Also tried the salted kumquat drink which was delightful. Overall very pleased!
The genuineness of this place made the Pho even better. The owner let us eat even though they were trying to close up. We were quite thankful to him.

Fun atmosphere, delicious food (it looked so good that we forgot to snap a photo before we ate), served quickly, and our server was very considerate and professional. After our meal we needed our check quickly because we were traveling and needed to get back on the road. Another server was so kind and considerate that she brought us utensils to use in the car for leftovers and a box of oranges for us to eat in the car! This was so cute and considerate! Thank you!♡
