My Daughter and I stopped for dinner tonight. If your gonna charge so much a plate offer better service. We were given our food and never seen a waitress again, ran out of water couldn't get anymore, got sick of waiting for the check so Had to go to the cash register to get and pay the bill. The waitresses were busy standing around talking and or cleaning and ignoring their customers. Wasn't asked by anyone how my meal or service was. After I paid I kindly stated it would have been nice to have more water to drink while trying to eat or a waitress to check on us and I got an Oh Im sorry no sincere effort at a real apology. The lady seemed to care less that we were dissatisfied. If your going charge such expensive prices offer decent service. We shared a meal due to my stomach issues and inability to eat much not to be cheap. I did not feel bad for not leaving a tip and used it as a teaching lessen to my child tips are earned not just handed out and this place lacks service. Same thing last time we ate here lack of service from your waitresses and I shrugged it off as it was a little busy last time. The place was empty and still no service. Probably won't ever waste my time again. YOU LOST MY BUSINESS

Prices were outrageous, they had lots of cute souvenirs, but also way over priced. The waffle and bacon were excellent, the eggs were gross. They were supposed to be scrambled, but they looked and tasted like they were some kind of egg in a carton. They look like they were poured onto the grill, flipped over and put on the plate. The server took them back to be redone and I got the exact same thing, only they were chopped up, I don't even think they were real eggs.
The chicken salad was huge and very good and the Denver omelet
was liked as well.
The prices really are outrageous, there was value in the price of the salad and the amount and quality of the salad, but overall not impressed enough to go back ever. Really disappointed.

It was #yummyful! The Blintz crepe was so good, it has strawberries and secret filling. Philly sandwich was fresh made and delicious. Definitely will come back
Server was very kind, atmosphere was chill, and they make sure you have plenty to eat. I was not expecting the amount of bacon I got but it was welcome! The lighting was low but comfortable low, I loved it. Place also has plenty of vegetarian friendly options.

I haven been coming to this restaurant with friends, my wife, or just by myself since arriving in Astoria. Each time both service and food were more than exceptional. I recommend this place.
Update. Today must have been a bad day for the waiters. They answered a couple of my questions without courtesy (quite rudely actually) and it was as if they’re doing me a favor. A shame because this was a fine restaurant. I’m glad my wife was not with me to witness this. I question my return in the future and might take my money elsewhere. I hope you’ll experience a better response for your questions..
New Update: I have returned to this restaurant lately and the service and food have been good. I can confidently recommend this restaurant again.

Picked up a to go order and my food was a jumbled mess, no gravy on the chicken fried steak. The lady who greeted me was quite nice though

My special Swedish pancakes were way over cooked and were like potato chips not crepes.

Great food, generous servings, good service, but man, their prices have gone up 100% in just a couple of years and I am not exaggerating. This use to be a family friendly place to go, now only for deep pockets. They should change their name to Le Pig N Pan with these gourmet prices.

The Pig has become unaffordable to me.
So very sad. Used to get plate sized pancakes. Now they are saucer-sized .
Almost $20.for 2 little pancakes, a slice of bacon & 1 egg. Plus a tip. Oh and a very small cup of coffee .

Service was fast and excellent, the food was good. The restaurant was clean.
The food prices include starter, which is a small portion of chowder, salad or soup. I throughly enjoyed the small ribs.
