Food was just ok but way over priced. Ordered over easy eggs and came out hard. Way overpriced.

Food was okay but way overpriced. Crepes were watery and not very flavorful. Service was not great.

Good to know that the shakes here are still the same as they were in the 2000s :)
Good grub, moderately priced. Good service, not overbearing or trying to turn the table asap like other places. I like to stop in and have their fruit waffles when I can. Great shakes, even with me being lactose-intolerant they are absolutely my undoing and I have no regrets.

I visited PnP twice while in town for work. 1st time food and service was so good I decided to go a 2nd time.
1st visit: sourdough pancakes and side of bacon & coffee. SD pancakes (the waitresses recommendation between SD or Buckwheat) were delicious, bacon straps were large (but overpriced, $7.25/4 slices) and the perfect combination of crispy/chewy.
2nd visit: I made the mistake of not asking for a recommendation... I thought the French toast looked good, 3 slices of sourdough bread and, I think the menu said 'strawberry compote' (I could be mistaken). The bread was sandwich size slices that were dense, one of mine was the heel, dipped in a very eggy batter. The strawberry compote was thin and had a wattery texture. My idea of compote is like a pourable jam, not syrup with pieces of fruit.
Essentially, it did not fulfill my hopes or meet my expectations... $16.50 for the French toast and $7.25 for bacon and I left hungry.
Service: The waitresses for both meals were fantastic! Both kept mu coffee cup full, asked about the food in a timely manner, dropped off the bill without any fanfare.
Atmosphere: Dated... feels like someplace your grandparents would take you (if they can afford it).
I wouldn't recommend PnP to my friends.

Very over p rices for a two egg omelet and some small pancakes. Expect every dish to be over 20 bucks. I can make the same thing or better at home for 3 bucks. This is not sustainable. Can't afford to visit again.

Really good buckwheat pancakes! They’re great. I tried the sourdough pancakes and those are runny. Didn’t care for them but they’re popular. Up to you. Friendly staff.

I love coming here any time I'm in town. It's like how Denny's used to feel when I was a kid. Just a nice place to eat your breakfast and spend time with your lover ones.

We love the omelettes here. Service is always great. View of the Megler Bridge in Astoria. Marionberry muffins are outstanding. I usually order the Crab and Tillamook cheese omelette and it’s worth the price.

Sat at the bar and got some biscuits and gravy. The coffee refills were so fast I was surprised they didn't just start pouring it in my mouth! All jokes. Wonderful place to grab a bite to eat if you're heading back east from the coast.
