As others have said, the dough, sauce, and pizza ingredients are outstanding. It's a place that clearly prioritizes quality. However, what I wanted to write about was the service. I was more than an hour late in picking up my order due to circumstances beyond my control, and they made sure to hold my order past their close time, and keep it as fresh as possible. This was beyond my expectations, and very much appreciated!!
Great place, friendly staff! It's a pizza parlor attached to a bar, where they were having Karoake night, so it was fun hearing the other patrons while sitting in the parlor. Even though it was only one server for the bar and parlor, I still received quick service, and the pizza tasted great. Highly recommend!
We have been on the hunt for good pizza on the west coast. We’re full-time RVers and originally from the East so we’ve tried a lot along the way. I’m vegan so it’s even tougher but sauce is always so key for me. My guy is just a pizza snob and hard to please. Sonny’s was the absolute perfect mix of excellent food, service and atmosphere.
