Had the Mac and cheese and it was delicious. I also tried the shrimp and grits and the fried pickles. All of it was great and the service was amazing.

Amazing fried chicken, bread and hush puppies. I can tell everything is made from scratch. Great food and service. Definitely coming back for my soul food fix. Gonna try the rest of the menu for sure

Jordan was awesome when we came up to order. He was friendly and outgoing. We were in town for a week or so and of all the lunches and dinners we had this was far and away the best. The serving size was not something I was expecting, but was pleasantly surprised. So much food for what seems like a low price. Has the hush puppies 10/10, the fried pickles 10/10, the chicken Mac and cheese 10/10, and the po boy 10/10. Cannot wait to come back!

A kind soul serving up delightfully filling meals at this easy to access food truck. You’ll leave with a smile and a full belly (at least if you try what I did, which was the red bean & rice burger)! Nice outdoor picnic tables for seating too.

Delicious with huge portions. My wife's is from Louisiana and is always looking for legit soul food in Oregon so we decided to give this place a try. It was amazing, so good that I ate more than I should have but so big I still had leftovers.

Ordered a rice and red bean burger, fries, hush puppies and my girlfriend ordered chicken and waffles.
The challenge with red beans and rice as a burger, is you gotta come up with the flavor. And oh my goodness, the flavor is amazing!
Salt, sweet, crunch, avocado, hot bread, stretchy cheese, with a wild pickle punch in hidden bites!
The fries are natural cut, seasoned, and not. I repeat, not soggy! They were firm, had a good crunch, I didn’t even need the ketchup that came with it.
I wasn’t able to eat the whole thing, and it made for a great dinner as well. (It reheats well)
The hush puppies with the honey butter… it was like eating an apple fritter inside a hush puppy. Truly a great twist on a southern classic
Please give this place a try, anything and everything on the menu I’m sure is amazing. I mean, if you can make a red beans and rice burger taste that amazing. You can’t go wrong with anything at this place.
Parking: Just find anything within 2 blocks and park. Don’t even bother trying to find an up front spot.
