I would love to say something positive because I've had some good times in the past, but my experience tonight was not good at all. Same great atmosphere but the food and service has gone way down. From having a drink spilled on my lap to the chicken pesto mac lacking any flavor I will not be back anytime soon. Also completely over priced for food and service.

The food here was 5 stars -- no question. The ambiance was a little quirky and the service not so polished on a busy weekend, but that was fine with us. Some "dinner clubs" lean towards stuffy or fancy, but this was simply good food in a lively, bright, and fun atmosphere. Really enjoyed the live music. T Paul's was a unique place, and we would return!

To start, we love eating here and usually look the other way and forgive all their quirks. But tonight was unacceptable. We normally eat at the bar and the service is fine, but tonight we had family in town. I called ahead to get on the seating list for a table which is somehow different than a reservation which they now don't take. I was told the benefit of calling ahead is that we'd be seated before walk-ins. So we arrive at the scheduled time and let them know we called ahead and were told by two front desk staff our name had been crossed off the seating list. No idea why? So we waited for a table. We finally get seated and order a bottle of wine and cocktails. The waitress comes with our drinks and tells us she doesn't know how to open a bottle of wine. We laugh it off even though we are paying $50 for a $13 bottle of wine. Whatever, we are out to celebrate. She comes back and we order an appetizer and settle in with our drinks. My husband's salad arrives immediately as we continue to wait, he tries to be polite waiting as the appetizer would surly arrive soon. An entire hour goes by. New people are seated, served and eating all around us. After more than an hour our SANDWICHES and one coconut shrimp entree arrive. Fries were cold. No appetizer. When we say something they immediately turn super rude and repeatedly tell us to just let them bring the appetizer and so we can just take it home. They would bring it after the meal. And when we declined the wait staff turned super rude. I could see our waitress complaining about our table to the owner behind the bar. We had planned to have dessert and after dinner drinks and do the whole thing. Could not get out of there fast enough. It was a terrible experience when all we asked for was what we ordered. Terrible service and no change will happen as a result of this review. They do not care. Potential diners be aware what you're in for. The food is good, drinks are good but all ruined by terrible customer service. I'm tired of making excuses for this place. Embarrassing to even recommend it.

Fantastic cocktails and food. We split the crab louie salad and halibut tacos and it was just the perfect mix. And I was starving and asked for some bread and butter off menu and they brought the most delicious hot sourdough.

Decor great-we love the vibe here. The entryway gets pretty packed in while you're waiting for a table, and if you're unfortunate like we were, you get seated at the two top that is essentially part of the waiting area and have people's butts and bags in your face during your meal.

Food and cocktails are outstanding! End of story.

They are clearly advertising for more staff, and the ones who are there are clearly doing their best to make all their customers happy. That being said, we finished our meals and drinks. We were not asked about any follow-up drinks or dessert. We waited for our table to be cleared for awhile, and then waited at our empty table for our check for 20 minutes. We understood that it was very busy, but we also couldn't understand why they wouldn't want us to pay so that they could open up another table for the many other people who were waiting to have a meal. We finally had to grab one of the wait staff who brought us our check and then we had to wait another 5 minutes for an entirely different staff member to pick up our payment that was ready when the check was dropping off. Then a third person dropped off our receipt. Quite obviously a team effort, which is admirable, but not so great as people who want to explore the rest of the town on a bustling Saturday night.

We had dinner there tonight. Both meals were so delicious. We will be back again. We had the Pork Belly Mac & Cheese and the Bourbon Prawns. Fantastic! Worth every penny! I don't write reviews often.

We visited Astoria and stopped in on a whim. The food was delicious! My husband had the halibut and chips. I chose the tiki tacos. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was perfect. We will definitely eat there again.

This place is definitely the best steakhouse in Astoria and may be the nicest restaurant that we found here at least. Delicious seafood and steak and super nice waitstaff. Highly recommend!
