I get it I walked in at 10:30 in the evening. I was looking for a place to socialize. When I walk through the door the first person I saw was a drunk guy that couldn't even say hi without slurring. I stood by the bar for a good minute and not one person other than the slurring drunk guy walked over and said I will be with you in a minute. I understand when you're busy but when somebody walks in customer service should be thank you for coming in please give me a moment or I'll be with you soon some sort of a welcome. There was nothing from this place so I walked out. I may have had a bad experience but that's all I can go by.

The truckload of negative reviews ain’t lying - this place is a cesspool of negativity, unless you’re a local maybe?
The bartender was a middle-aged white lady who intentionally avoided me for 20 mins while I tried to place an order, while she made small talk with the locals.
The crowd here is the epitome of degeneracy - elderly folks binge drinking, youngsters addicted to the gambling machines, belligerently drunk middle aged men trying to get teenage girls drunk and pick them up, the bartender assisting them, it was all on display.
I’ve traveled all across rural small town USA and several dive bars, and enjoyed every single one of them - this has to be the worst.
I don’t know - all the locals with a drinking problem seem to love it - is that a reflection on the locals or the bar?
I don’t know, but don’t bother finding out.

Paula rocked the service and everything beyond. We randomly picked this place and immediately felt like we were at home. First stop when we got here from now on and the last stop when we head home.

One of the best bars in the area, but don’t tell anyone…
Don’t listen to other people’s negative reviews. The bartenders here rock, if you’re rude you get treated as such. Be nice and you’ll be taken care of!
Came through here on a bike tour about a year ago. Felt welcomed and comfortable. Had a great time. Will be back.
It's alright. Just check it out, but plain but simple to hang out opens only certain time hours . If their busy.
All the bartenders are very friendly
Favorite dive bar in Astoria!

Rudest bartender I have ever met. Literally rolled her eyes when I asked questions. We are out of town, but from Portland and just trying to chill kindly with our fellow people. She seems to hate everyone. I just watched her respond so negatively for asking for a fin and tonic.
I am sorry you are the only bar open here after 11? If you hate your job please quit.
Great little bar, lovely staff, nice people, good music, comfy, inexpensive.
Gotta be the best dive in Astoria.
Great service. Very welcoming and with a great selection of brews from neighboring Astoria Brewing Co.
Bartender was a really nice dude! Treated me great as a solo tourist. Never felt like an interloper. Other people in the bar were lively and friendly.
