This place makes laundry day seem like a vacation day! We've met "V" and Januck(sp) SO FRIENDLY!! They always take good care of us and we love talking with them. We're new to the area so it's fun meeting the locals.The whole place is immaculate. Lots of snacks, drinks, beers on tap and a food truck on premises.THANKS GUYS!!!

Large tap selection, but I am here to review the outdoor seating. Just outside the tiny indoor tap area are two great food carts, Fentastic Teriyaki and Tres Bros Nicaraguan food. Both are excellent! There is a sweet gravel seating area under a beautiful old Redwood tree, lots of comfy Adirondack chairs and large basalt rocks to sit on around a fire pit. Across the street is Astoria Food Co-op which has a really good burrito bar and hot/salad bar- grab some food and walk over for a beer. This sweet patio is one of Astoria’s best little secrets!

Tried Growler Guys at a new location for me. Parking was limited, but they still have a fabulous selection. Tried Grand Mimosa from my old stomping grounds in Wisconsin. So awesomely wild.

Half arse service. Regulars/friends were there so distracted. No flights, just little tasting cups. Bought a growler which was a fair price since I filled it.

We love the Growler Guys in Bend, OR, and were so excited to see one on our recent trip to Astoria! However, it was very clear we (my girlfriend and I--an out and proud lesbian couple) were not welcome. At. All. The server refused to acknowledge us while we stood in front of her at the bar. She chatted with other (white, male) customers and avoided us entirely. Another couple came in (hetero, white), and she served up a friendly smile and some brews. She finally (reluctantly) served us, and the smiles she had for the previous customer was wiped clean. If you like a bigoted server and great beer, I highly recommend. Otherwise, stick to any of the other lovely breweries in Astoria. Not for my LGBTQ folks, did not feel safe here at all. Side note: Our 14-year-old was with us and we had a difficult conversation about prejudice and bigotry...never a fun conversation, but especially not while on a family vacation.
