This is a very jain-friendly place. They could make a lot of dishes like tempura, fried rice, etc., vegan and without onions, garlic, and potatoes.
Hole in the wall great sushi, fresh fruit. Kid friendly. Spicy ramen was good.

This was a nice surprise to find a place that served one of my sons favorites, gyozas. We ordered a chicken bowl and a gyoza dish, and we were really happy with the quality of the chicken. It was cooked perfectly! I only got a small sample as this was for my son. Next time I'm passing thru Astoria I plan on stopping here with the whole family.

This place is not trans friendly.
I got take out and my name came up and the lady at the till asked me what my deadname (birth name) was. I told her that her question was inappropriate and she said that it was not. I pushed back again, telling her that it is a bad question and she continued to say that the question was fine.
The ramen was mid but not bad. Didn't really taste like ramen.

It's quite small and narrow if you plan on going with kids, my only complaint would be the katsu sauce tasting a little too much like cinnamon which was weird to me but everything else was soooo good!! We got the beef and pork ramens with shoyu and a chicken katsu bento box. Both ramens were amazingggggggg, can't go wrong

The place is very nice and clean inside and the staff is very friendly and there's lots of vegan options, so there's that. Unfortunately, the food is extremely underwhelming, mediocre, and bland. Everything with a Heart is vegan. Even some options like the fried rice can be made vegan. But yeah, the food just isn't that great, but it's something if you're in the area. I went here with my non vegan partner and we both really enjoyed what we got. I had the bento box with teriyaki tofu and an asparagus roll which were both very yummy! I appreciated how everything vegan is clearly marked, though they definitely don’t have a ton of options.
My family stopped in for supper and the food was excellent. The server was friendly and took lots of time explaining the menu to us. The portions were large and the resturant was clean. Would definitely go there again.

Very small from outside and I would of missed it if thier wasn't traffic, I went to bank and drove by it and thought let me try this place, when I came in had quite a bit of seating to my surprise was very unique for the atmosphere that it presented from the inside . Food was great I ordered yakisoba noodles and chicken bowl and got 2 eggs forgot to tell them how wanted them cooked, got a fried rice on the side. Was way to much food for me was more hungry when came in, so took fried rice with me and the 2 eggs, so great way to have food for later. So was nice little joint that was great believe the server was Matthew and he was very polite and knew quite a bit of the menu and great personality. Spent about a little under 30 bucks but was nice. Owners wasn't thier at that time but they made a nice place to feed anyone looking for Japanese food, but teriyaki and sushi is thier game here.

Teriyaki chicken was ok, rice was goodn gyoza ok. But as for the ramen, worst vegetables I've ever had(cabbage carrots, broccoli. 0 flavor. Shoyu Broth was weird. Not sure who came up with this recipe but they need to rethink this. My wife is from Tokyo, we were super disappointed.

We found this place in downtown Astoria and decided to give it a go as the menu seemed to have several vegan options. Tofu is always a good source of protein at Asian restaurants and it's not everyday one comes across vegan sushi. We each ordered a Rice Bowl w/Fried Tofu and shared a Veggie Tempura Roll. We were both impressed by the sheer amount of tofu included with each bowl. It was definitely a large portion and would probably have been enough to sate our hunger alone, but we're glad we ordered the roll, also, because it was super fresh and tasty! I would without hesitation recommend both. Service was excellent! Our hostess was friendly and engaging and was genuinely happy that we appreciated the food. I would definitely return if in Astoria again.
This place has turned into a joke! I love Jackie and her son but that server that have there now is atrocious! She’s rude has NO sever skills. I got my order and even though it was right in too when I got home it was ABSOLUTELY wrong. So disappointed. That server needs to go. It wasn’t the first time……… but I called Matthew in seaside and told him about my issue and he took care of everything. He was amazing! Thank you Matthew! I appreciate you!
