I went here with my non vegan partner and we both really enjoyed what we got. I had the bento box with teriyaki tofu and an asparagus roll which were both very yummy! I appreciated how everything vegan is clearly marked, though they definitely don’t have a ton of options.
We found this place in downtown Astoria and decided to give it a go as the menu seemed to have several vegan options. Tofu is always a good source of protein at Asian restaurants and it's not everyday one comes across vegan sushi. We each ordered a Rice Bowl w/Fried Tofu and shared a Veggie Tempura Roll. We were both impressed by the sheer amount of tofu included with each bowl. It was definitely a large portion and would probably have been enough to sate our hunger alone, but we're glad we ordered the roll, also, because it was super fresh and tasty! I would without hesitation recommend both. Service was excellent! Our hostess was friendly and engaging and was genuinely happy that we appreciated the food. I would definitely return if in Astoria again.
I have been eating the same meal here for years and it is always perfect no matter who the sushi chef has been🤌. Their crunchy veggie sushi rolls are the best crunchy rolls of any sushi I have ever had. Always fast, always perfectly crunchy and beautifully dressed in just the right touch of flavor and sauce. This local owned spot is worth the stop every single time. Truly phenomenal crunchy sushi. And always such friendly warm staff.

Honestly, nothing stood out but still really liked my meal somehow
One of my regular places to go for teriyaki plate or bowl. Always good food and good service. The sushi is alright; better than the local sushi place down the street. A little too much sauce on the rolls, but that's the current trend for sushi. Definitely worth a trip for lunch or dinner. If they were easier to get to, i would go there more often for work lunch breaks.

Two of us went, and both agree: The teriyaki sauce is great, the steamed veggies are good, rice is perfect sticky, the staff very friendly and helpful. Appreciate them!
The 1 star drop is because the asparagus sushi was too much rice. There was another layer of rice added on, losing the flavor of the asparagus, feeling more like a rice roll not an asparagus roll. That's what I was looking forward to and disappointed by.
Bathroom, floors, tables look clean!
Overall,, pretty close to 5 star.
Nice place, enjoyed the atmosphere I got the teriyaki rice bowl, it was good but the vegetables were a bit mushy but overall an okay place.

They had so many vegan options clearly marked with little hearts. We got the fried tofu noodles (I can't remember the actual name tbh), the fried avocado roll, and the veggie roll. It was all really good. Our favorite item was the fried avocado roll. We will definitely be back when we go to Astoria again! The atmosphere was cute and the waitress was very friendly. I recommend this place if you are a vegan in Astoria!
Vegetarian options: There were clearly labeled vegan options and there were quite a few of them.

I got the fried rice with tofu and veggies (specify no eggs). It was fairly bland, and some of the tofu bits were so over-fried I had to spit them out to not hurt my teeth. Added soy sauce and it was serviceable, maybe caught them on an off day. Just a bit disappointed for a $19.99 meal.
Prices have spiked recently, but the food stays consistently pretty good.
