Absolutely amazing and food was fresh and delicious !! Kind of hard to get parking spot near it due to its location but big parking lot one block away if no parking up front or on side .. but will eat there again when we go back to Astoria !
I've come in to Tora for the last three years and have ordered the same thing every time. My magura sashimi has always come out prepared exactly as it should, fresh and raw, no searing. Tonight it came out seared and I sent it back, which I rarely do. The two servers behind the bar argued with me that I ordered the wrong item and that it was always served seared. Sushi went hard! Loved the food, it was happy hour tho and our server came around every 30 minutes or so (the restaurant was empty)
