“We originally planned to go to Dead Man's Isle only, but after talking to Debba when we stopped by Muntiki earlier in the day she mentioned a Japanese Bar upstairs and said we had to check it out when we went to Dead Man's Isle that evening.

Boy were we surprised.

This little bar with 5 seats and a tiny bit of standing room was the highlight of our trip to Astoria. Cherry was an excellent host. We've both spent time in Japan so we got to reminisce about our time there. She was excited to talk about the sake/whisky collection and happy to make cocktails. It truly felt like we were in a back alley bar in Tokyo.

We can't wait to come back.
