This place was fantastic. Great atmosphere and drinks, and Cherry was just incredible. I may have fallen in love tonight. 10/10 highly recommend

We originally planned to go to Dead Man's Isle only, but after talking to Debba when we stopped by Muntiki earlier in the day she mentioned a Japanese Bar upstairs and said we had to check it out when we went to Dead Man's Isle that evening.
Boy were we surprised.
This little bar with 5 seats and a tiny bit of standing room was the highlight of our trip to Astoria. Cherry was an excellent host. We've both spent time in Japan so we got to reminisce about our time there. She was excited to talk about the sake/whisky collection and happy to make cocktails. It truly felt like we were in a back alley bar in Tokyo.
We can't wait to come back.

Too little seating, but fun. You have to make reservations if you want any of the 4 seats there, or show up at odd hours.
This is inside the Dead Man's Isle, so if you can't find seating it is elsewhere. No matter what, you'll find a place and drinks for a great time.

Very cool, very teeny tiny 'secret' bar in the balcony of Dead Man's Isle. Only 4 seats at the bar, so be sure to make a reservation!
We were lucky enough to saddle up to the bar on our latest visit to Astoria. We really enjoyed our cocktails and chats with the owner and bartender. They have an extensive whisky list and beautifully displayed toys. This small bar is packed with so much to see! Highly recommend if you can make it in on a weekend!
