Ventured first to the roasting plant and met Donna Rose where she directed me to their coffee shop on Campbell in downtown Baker City. Joel, the very handsome roaster, presented me with a fresh espresso-ground bag of their most amazing dark roast - no charge! I've been enjoying it with my pour over coffee setup all week. We were heading to the Boise airport and wanted coffee for the road, so we stopped inside, as the only other coffee place in town is closed Sunday’s. The place is clean and cheerful. Small but plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and efficient. We ordered large coffees, which are 24 ounces (that’s what I’m talking about). They use real cream, no packets.
