We stopped in Baker and found this gem. My Rueben was brined for 48 hours and hand cut - fabulous! My husband's French Dip was cooked perfectly and with all the right seasoning. Definitely recommend this train car - restaurant.

One of the few pleasures of long interstate highway slogs is finding local, hidden gem restaurants along the way. This is one of them! Looks a bit tattered on the outside, but inside you’ll find gourmet burgers that put most big city “gourmet” places to shame. And fries to die for. Don’t settle for chain fast food when this place is only a few feet away.

Impressed! Ordered two burgers with fries. I requested ketchup and ranch so they gave me cups since they didn’t have packets! I appreciated that they went above and beyond instead of just saying they don’t have it! Btw burgers and fries were PERFECT!
The best fries and the Cheesey Ham Chowder is to due for. Super good food.

Exactly what you hope for on a road trip: proper diner menu, reasonably priced, hot and delicious. Ordered the Reuben and BLTA with fries. Bread was the ideal toast level, where it still has a light chewiness but a few more seconds would turn it into a cracker. Meat was thick sliced and legit. Zero disappointment in my lunch selection. Would/will stop again on my next time through.

I got Jalapeño Cheeseburger with Pepper-jack cheese with fries on the side. And A lemonade for my drink. Our waitress was kind and polite. Great food and service. :)10/10

Awesome atmosphere & ambiance ..GREAT GRUB....great place for a business lunch, local beef, not a chain and did I mention GREAT GRUB?????Little pricey but worth every penny. Close to the freeway, go west on the Campbell exit...friendly people clean, and if on a date, Fella's you would not be embarressed taking your favorite girl to a 'burger joint'...

Have you ever went back to a restaurant and tipped them better for carry out after you were done eating? Us neither, until tonight! We had the Rueben, Patty Melt, Frontier Burger and the B.L.T.A. with sides of onion straws, beer battered fries and 2 of the homemade chips. Can’t imagine that there’s better food for miles in any direction. We were all amazingly happy with everything! Give them a try, I guarantee you will be glad you did! We’re foodies and this place has great food!
