After walking around the little downtown, we stumbled upon this place. Rum tasting is unique, so we thought we'd give it a try... And glad we did! The lady working there let us try about six different types of rum (the lemon and hibiscus were my favorites). We tried to pay for the tastings, but the lady would not take our money. She was also not forcing us to buy anything, which was nice (even though we did, lol). Although I'm not a huge rum drinker, it was a great experience.
We were wandering around Old Town and found this little gem. We were there before they opened so we had lunch in the interim. Finally @ noon the door opened... It is an itty-bitty tasting room, and I mean small! We were the 1st ones in and there was a diminutive lady behind the counter serving the smallest samples you've ever seen. She said it was the Law. Great distillery shop! The main distillery is in Charleston (appt only) but this is a wonderful shop that has all their amazing unique rums and other spirits.Worth a stop in, you can sample anything and buy everything they make.The woman running the shop was great fun and she had the story behind all the spirits.
