The food and service was fantastic! Desserts are homemade and just like my Mom used to make. The prices are very affordable. A real cheeseburger for $10. I highly recommend the smoked tri-tip sandwich on sourdough! And the dinner special will leave you full.
If you’re traveling between John Day and Ontario, Oregon this is a no-brainer. The new owners have done a nice job and the food is fantastic. We had shakes one evening and mine had real huckleberries. The next morning we had breakfast and it was great as well. For sure a stop for us whenever we are in the area!

Mindy and Marc are amazing chefs. The food is so unexpectedly (unexpected because the restaurant sits so innocently along a deserted highway) absolutely fantastic. Leave room for dessert!
