Bay City Kitchen is, imho, the best restaurant on the Tillamook Coast. BCK uses the freshest local ingredients and create unexpectedly delicious dishes. Last night I had the herb crusted lamb with couscous and turnips. $20. I’m impressed with the variety of vegetables and perfect preparation. This is what eating out should be, an adventure in trying foods I wouldn’t know how to cook for myself. My meal was delicious. I got bites of my husband’s steak and potatoes stuffed with braised vegetables…perfection. If this restaurant was in Portland there would be a line down the block starting at noon. Also, the Sunday night dinners are popular for a good reason. I should add, the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful.

Such a darling delightful & delicious little gem on the Oregon Coast!
We are so grateful to be able to reserve our spots for Sunday supper & to get lucky enough to pop in as it’s usually just the two of us. The food is incredible! It’s local, fresh, & therefore can be limited quantities. For takeaway, make sure to check out their cold case & pastries too!

Worst customer service! We are not from the area. We took some friends out to the coast, from out of town. We were a big group and they turned us away because we did not make reservations! There website states no reservation is needed! The cook was outside and when he saw our group he nodded his head. Not to say the gal when we walked in was rude! I do not recommend!!

An unexpected little gem — we stopped here after realizing the Tillamook Factory was way too busy for our style and we are SO glad we did; kind staff, great wine list and amazing food!

Today I tried the Flat Iron steak dish. Tender and tasty grilled slices of steak with potatoes and sweet carrots. The sauce made me drag each slice of steak through it, before it went into my eager mouth. I ate too much and I am NOT sorry. So good!

I've watched Bay City Kitchen here on Facebook from day one. I love the Sunday dinner concept. Every week, the menu has me drooling. but let's face it... I'm a cheapskate who loves to cook. I rarely have dinner out. To make matters even worse, I suffer from celiac. So when my brother was coming to town for a visit and suggested we finally try it, I was a little bit nervous. I messaged and told them of my issue. They assured me that they'd accommodate my dietary needs, with great care. Imagine my delight when the entire dinner the night we'd reserved was gluten free! The food was absolutely amazing! The people are delightful! Bay City Kitchen is a shining gem on the northern coast.

We were spending a few days on the coast to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were looking for someplace that served something besides, hamburgers, fish and chips or chowder. Wow, did we hit jackpot! What an amazing little restaurant. It is just the two owners running it, so you order at the counter, then they bring you your delicious food. The price was SO reasonable, because they have a small, changing menu and realistic portions. My only complaint is that I live too far away to come here every week!

Landed here on a quiet Thursday early evening, just in time to watch the sun set over Bayocean spit. Lovely meal, charming staff. Will eat here again!

Wheelchair accessibility: Iffy. Might be able to access through the side entrance.
