“While driving along the Oregon Coast, which reminded me so much of my hometown scenery, I decided this was a place we absolutely had to stop—and I’m so glad we did. Just as I imagined, the food was delicious and full of the warmth and care of a small-town kitchen.

Traveling with three children and bringing them into a restaurant is never easy, but the staff went out of their way to make special bear-face pancakes just for them. The kids were so excited, repeating “It’s so good!” again and again. My wife and I also enjoyed chatting with the waitresses, which made the experience feel incredibly homey and welcoming.

It was a truly wonderful breakfast in a very friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Whenever we drive the Oregon Coast again, this is definitely a place we’ll stop by. Thank you so much.”

“This is the best place in Oregon to get clam chowder. The staff is outstanding and the food spectacular. The restaurant is small and quaint but clean and neat. Stop by here everytime I'm in the area.”

“I rolled up to The Original Pronto Pup and immediately thought: this is iconic. This is the place where the Pronto Pup - the OG corn dog‑on‑a‑stick - was invented right here on the Oregon coast, and that history hits different when you’re actually standing in front of it.

First of all, the giant corn dog on the roof is goofy in the most beautiful way possible. It’s like someone put a beacon out there that’s telling your stomach exactly where to go. You walk in thinking you’re just grabbing a snack, and five minutes later you’ve got a footlong batter‑wrapped pup in one hand, crispy tater tots in the other, and ketchup‑mustard remnants on your hoodie.

The batter is different from a fair‑corn dog. It’s got that pancake‑batter vibe, savory and satisfying, which makes the whole experience feel legit historic, not just convenient. And yes, they have all the classic and wild options - cheesy pups, pickle pups, veggie pups, plus fries and tots that somehow hit harder than they should for roadside eats.

There’s even a mechanical corn dog ride out front, because why not ride a corn dog for 50 cents while you wait for your food? It’s the sort of random, weirdly delightful thing that makes this more than just a quick bite.

Final verdict: Pronto Pup is a must‑stop roadside legend. Historic, fun, and absolutely delicious in that “I’ll eat way more than I planned” kind of way. If you’re cruising the coast without stopping here, you missed the whole point of coast food culture.”

“my husband and I stopped in here and it was late but we got the best Burgers wirh fries. they make there own sauces it had the best pepper jack, sriracha cheese sause on the burgers and we had baccon cheese fondue wirh our fries. the people are amazing. decently recommended this place.”

“GREAT FOOD/ GREAT STAFF. We had a late lunches of barbecued pork and avocado toast - both were delicious! Aside from the food, what really sets Currents apart is the helpful and patient staff. We had a bad experience with a motel and were looking for another place to stay. This entailed staying at the cafe long after we finished our meals. It is unusual to find customer service like this.”

“ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!! The food is amazing-we tried several different burritos and tacos and were extremely happy with everything! The price is super reasonable for the quality and amount of food that we were given. The customer service was also very good-they were kind and accommodating and got our food (group of 10) out very fast. They brought out salsas for us that only added even more satisfaction to our experience. They also have covered and uncovered outdoor seating that is very convenient. 10/10 would highly recommend stopping by! We will be back!”

“I came by Seaworthy Coffee for the first time with my friend who was visiting Netarts for a birthday party today and it was excellent. I don't usually write reviews for the places I go but the owner Carisa (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) was so immensely kind and funny that I felt an impulse to write a review. I unfortunately didn't order any coffee, but we bought some toys while we were there and had a lightsaber battle. Had a great ~30 minute conversation with Carisa, was surprised by how vibrant of a personality she had and how relatable she was especially for an older lady, and we left with a Marilyn Monroe hologram that Carisa gave us as a parting gift. I definitely plan to stop by again if the opportunity arises and try some of the coffee that I unfortunately missed out on today.”

“the best thai tea. Boba is an option! And today I tried the mango sticky rice. what a mistake....not buying 2. I wanted a a second order because I literally finished it before I made it to Garibaldi. “What a pleasant surprise! My family and I walked into this shop and were immediately greeted by Corrine, who was incredibly warm and patient, even with our large group of kids and all our questions. Her superior customer service alone is reason enough to return, but the treats blew us away. The dark chocolate and pistachio fudge were fresh and delicious, ice cream delightful and creamy, but the true standout was the white sea foam. It was hands down the best I've ever had—not too hard, not too soft, and with perfect white chocolate. It was so amazing, it might be the best thing I've eaten all year. I would love to know if you offer shipping; this treat is worth it. Seriously, please let me know if possible. 😆 Also, I notice the ice cream prices were better priced than the other shop next door. We also loved the souvenirs. My teenager and I bought matching pullovers. Overall, it was just a great shop and I'm just a satisfied customer! P.S: Go Damian Lillard/WSU!! 😊”
