“This place rules. They have several vegan options, staff are aware of what is/not vegan, portions are ENORMOUS, and the food was great. This will definitely be a regular stop for me during coast trips.”
“I have breakfast there almost every day. These people are the best thing to hit Rockaway since Dollar General. Any person who doesn’t like joes should stay home.❤️❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: They have optionsKid-friendliness: Sugar sugar and more sugarWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out”
“opens at 6:30 AM, CBD infused drink options, great vibes, great food, fast, drive through, truly a life saver and just amazing!!!like straight up pulled up, and within 5 minutes had 3 meals and 2 drinks that were all just perfect!!!!”
“Delicious coney dogs and tater tots! Fun environment! Such a unique stop on the coast!Parking: Parking is across a side street. Not well marked off, but decent amount of spaces.”
“After a cold long walk on the beach, Beach Bakeshop was an amazing treat! Have to recommend their "sand dollar savory hand pies". The shop was clean, the service was efficient, the customer service was excellent. After a quick conversation I already felt like part of the community. The tables / outdoor seating area may be small, but perfect for grabbing a bite, and listening to the ocean. Can't wait to come back!”
“The best place in town to eat especially for Mexican food. The staff has always been amazing, the food is always delicious and we have had many items on the menu through the years.Clean and comfortable atmosphere.Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great place to eat out!”
“Love it. Came all the way from Arizona. The small oysters are the best.Crabbing was great fun, but caught 0 male crabs both times. My kids loved renting the boat.”
“Friendly efficient staff, was comfortable seating. Food was delicious and well portioned and reasonably priced. Handicapped parking was perfect, only thing was there was garbage strewn all over right at the stairs and cigarette butts all over the stairs, really was almost a deterrent to even go in. But inside was clean and tidy. Faun was awesome..Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right in front a few stairs on one in and a ramp at over end.”
“This Sassy Express Thai food truck serves up awesome and unexpected dishes. Run by this local couple, were friendly and seemed to be local favorites. We tried their Thai spicy level and it was so hot that our ears were ringing, but we absolutely loved it. The vegetables were perfectly crunchy, adding a nice texture to the meal. We will definitely be coming back for more.”
“Delicious crab and lobster melts! Would also recommend the smoked salmon dip. A bit pricey for what you get when it comes to the crab cocktail. Definitely will be back on our coastal adventures.”
“You can't beat Rick's! Great place for drinks, food, and lottery. They have a shuffleboard, video Lotto machines, back patio, and plenty of seating! The cook Pete is amazing at what he does...and what he does is make some of the best food around! I have eaten many hamburgers, sandwiches (Ruben and what I would call a Philly) and pizza etc. My wife loves their crispy chicken sandwiches and salad. Very reasonably priced!! Love Rick's!”
“Beautiful Gem hidden here! Great food, i usually don't eat burgers because I'm picky but their burgers are so delicious! Drinks were good too, not too strong but enough. Clean and inclusive bathrooms! MUST VISIT!!”
“My waiter said he just couldn't do grumpy today. What a wonderful place with good food and kind patrons. My two silver dollar pancakes, over easy egg and bacon were all done perfectly and tasted great. Even bummed a biscuit with gravy off my table companion - wonderful again. He was nice enough to warn me that the #1 breakfast with two pancakes is HUGE. I am really looking forward to my cinnamon roll tomorrow. **Update: the cinnamon roll was big enough to share with four people. I heated it up in the microwave for a minute and a half...mouthwatering goodness.”
“Really excellent!! We tried Cod, halibut, and calamari. All three were super tasty. The halibut, which was my order was so meaty. The ratio of batter to fish was like 90% fish and worth every penny. Little the right little spice in the calamari. The french fries are those ones that taste just slightly battered! Perfect! The people were very friendly.Out door standing, uncovered tables, so be ready if it's raining...but it's the Oregon coast so you probably already are!”
“This pizza place was an unexpected treat! Some friends and I stopped in this past weekend, it's a small place down by the marina, we weren't expecting much. What we found was fantastic wood-fired pizza in a cool restaurant with awesome service. They had a good selection of beers on tap too.”
“There is nothing better than breakfast at Wanda’s on a cold winter day! Love being greeted by owner Frank and knowing I will have a consistently excellent meal!I also enjoyed buying their Oregon stickers!”
“Every bite I've ever eaten from Bay City Kitchen has been delicious. From salad to dessert and every bite in-between, the food is always delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. It's a small place. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to the table. Water, napkins, and utensils are self-serve, don't expect traditional table service. Most menu items are available frozen/refrigerated, so a last-minute dinner to go is easy. Choose your dishes, pay, and go.Good beer & wine options plus some out-of-the-ordinary non-alcoholic beverages. Not a huge list, but all quality selections.Sunday dinner is always a prix fixe menu that includes salad, entree, and dessert. As of 3/3/24 the Sunday dinner was $30/person.Highly recommended.”
“Great food with an attention to detail. Super friendly staff but I could really do without the one server who thinks that they need to sing the chorus of every song that is played at the top of her lungs. It's not Portland, it's the coast. Keep Portland in Portland. Also, that french toast is bonkers! I don't care what you order to eat here, just make sure that one of you orders a slice of French Toast.”
“The two ladies in the kitchen can cook. The coconut prawns are out of this world good. The soup Tom Kha with tofu hit the spot, I’m drinking the broth.Pad Se Ew (spelling) thick noodle dish with beef and veggies, excellent.Prick Kiong (nope, not spelled correctly) with chicken is amazing! If you’re in Tillamook, Cape Meares, or close to this joint, it’s definitely worth stopping by. We got the food to go.10 stars, will go again, one of everything please.”
“Got three beverages and they were all perfect. Hemp milk was frothed just right, no burn. Soy beverage was great too. Good prices for coffee that actually wakes you.Staff was all very sweet and helpful too, will definitely make an excuse to stop here every time we pass by.Dietary restrictions: All the alternative milks, hemp, soy, almond, coconut. Good milk brands too.”
“GREAT FOOD, EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE! If you live ANYWHERE near Tillamook and don't eat at RECESS you are missing out! They listen to what you want and you get what you ordered. WOW, what a concept, what a menu. (Jen can cook!)”
“Amazing staff with lots of knowledge about whiskey and more! The drinks were out of this world (the Honey Grapefruit Margarita!! And the Exile to Ryeville!!) We will definitely be back. Please come here and support this fun spot ??”
“I am always on the hunt for a delicious clam chowder, and Buttercup did not disappoint! It was a different consistency than the standard chowder, but not in a bad way. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. My wife had the Cajun chicken and andouille chowder and enjoyed it as well. The bread was definitely the perfect hearty companion for the soup. We chose to take our meal around to the back patio, which had plastic enclosures and heaters to keep us warm enough on the cold rainy day. We grabbed an ice cream on our way out (pink velvet in a poppyseed cone), and it was so creamy and tasty. Definitely recommend!”
“We were thrilled to find something that was healthy and delicious! The food is so good and fresh! We aren't staying in the town of wheeler but we'll make the short drive for the next 2 days to eat here!”
“Some of the best , maybe even the best F&C around. Call before you come hours are variable not always as posted. Cook was grumpy but who cares it's not what I'm there for. 4&1/2 stars.”
“I look forward to going every time, better food than you would imagine, I recommend it to everyone,I love them and everything they have accomplished, and I will see them soon.”
“5/5 !!!Hands down the best Chinese located on the north Oregon coast.Cannot beat the $5 for 6 potstickers w/ chili oil. The portions are great for the price too, total was $15 for general tsao chicken, rice & a double order of the mac salad + the potstickers!Solid good price for lunch or dinner. The woman that cooks the food and runs this spot is so nice, and it is very obvious she takes pride in her cooking! Be sure to try this gem when you have the time or are driving through Garibaldi with an appetite! ??”
“Stopped on a drive down to seaside and got grilled ham and cheese and grilled cheese, was a amazing simple and cheap lunch so on the drive home I stopped and got the breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burritos, and the burritos were amazing did not expect pulled pork to work so well but that with the real eggs and potato’s was just a 10/10 and the biscuits and gravy was a 8/10 needed a little salt and pepper but if you like from scratch biscuits then a 10 easy, and the breakfast bagel sandwich was simple yet still done with all real eggs and real cheese definitely a permanent stop on the coast from now on ?”
“Please don't judge a book by it's cover. This location has a wonderful view of the coast and with their wood benches it's nice to sit outside with fresh sea salt air. We had the oysters with the Clam chowder bread bowl and I had Captains Sampler.Oyster- FreshClam chowder- creamy and full of flavor.Captain Sampler- crispy fresh seafood battered then fried.Parking: SpaciousWheelchair accessibility: Doors are wide and no stairs”
“SOOO GOOD! I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a burrito so much. I can see why they get such good reviews. Perfectly seasoned. My husband got enchiladas and highly recommends them as well. Can’t wait to eat here again. Portions were generous too. I have leftovers.”
