I liked the cafe vibe of the place. The biscuits and gravy were okay. If I go back, I'll get the french toast.I'm torn on the rating for service. There was a younger gentleman (compared to the rest of the staff) who was running around doing his best and was very kind. After some customers left, $40s was discovered on the floor.This gentleman promptly ran up the block to return the money. They can be grumpy; but it is called Grumpy's! Sometimes it's tough to get what I want but this was the best experience I've had with them. Best breakfast sandwich I have had there. In town! The owner came out and made me feel really welcome. Even helped with a little problem I was having. I hope they keep it up. Only issue is getting everyone on the same page during the phone call. My go to Rockaway Beach breakfast. Might have helped that I didn't send the ex-wife this time!
