I was nervous when I saw MacGregor's Whiskey Bar had relocated but fortunately an employee stayed behind. Same atmosphere, slightly different menu but the gal that works there is hyper knowledgeable on her whiskeys (rum too) and made it all the more a great experience for me and my cousin who was visiting the US for the first time.
Visited here for the first time almost a year ago, remembered a great experience and was not disappointed. Tried a fun new to me beverage in the Bramble & Lavender with the delicious smokiness from the mezcal, and then an old faithful in the Old Fashioned. They were out of the cheese that was supposed to come with the board I ordered, the server recommended substituting with their truffle cheese and the cheese on the crostini with cranberries on top was delightful.
